New native iPad layouts put upcoming passes beside the sky and make browsing, settings, and alarms easier to use on a larger screen. Enjoy sharper sky charts with richer stars, finer orbit paths, and clearer Milky Way detail. Controls now have a consistent appearance, with keyboard shortcuts for common actions.

Alarms, all in one place. • A dedicated Alarms tab brings notification controls and local pass alarms together. • Set or edit an alarm with the time picker, including the moment a pass rises to 10°. • Compass guidance opens from a compact glass control on the chart. • The Skychart video now appears on first Compass use, from either Passes or Satellites.

Weather at a glance, and smarter station reminders. • See the weather icon, temperature and conditions beside your location on the home screen. • Automatic station reminders make room for weather, with shorter viewing directions and cautious wording when clouds may affect the view. • Automatic reminders are skipped when forecasts show a high likelihood of rain throughout the pass. Reminders you set for individual passes still work as usual.

Explore the live sky in the new Sky now tab. Find passing satellites with search and distance and illumination filters. Select an object to see its path, center it, or follow its direction offscreen. You can now report a satellite’s observed brightness; the privacy policy explains this optional feature. This update also improves sky stability, satellite updates and navigation animations.

A new home for your next observation. • See the next visible ISS or Tiangong pass at a glance, with an animated sky preview of where it rises, peaks and sets. • Tap Remind me to get a push reminder before each visible pass. • Home Screen widgets show the upcoming pass with a sky chart and rise, peak and set times. • All passes are grouped by day with station icons and peak elevation. • Follow a pass with a Live Activity, including sunlight and shadow changes. • During a pass, see the satellite’s current position and elevation on the home screen. The planetarium opens in Now mode with a highlighted passing-now indicator. • Improved planetarium responsiveness.

Explore the sky in a new immersive 3D planetarium. • Follow the ISS and Tiangong with animated paths and pass previews. • Discover stars, constellations, the Moon, planets, and their major moons. • Move your phone to follow the sky, or pan and zoom to explore. • Enjoy detailed planetary surfaces, a glowing Milky Way, and a peaceful nighttime horizon.

• See where each space station is flying, with country flags and familiar geographic names. • Explore redesigned pass lists with larger sky charts and clearer viewing times. • Get started with gentle highlights and a sky-chart video on your first visible pass. • Enjoy improved layouts on smaller iPhones.

A new look at the sky. • Explore refreshed sky charts with the Milky Way, twilight colors, and realistic Moon phases. • Follow each pass with a clearer timeline showing when the satellite appears, reaches its highest point, and disappears. • Find your bearings with redesigned compass controls and improved guidance for pointing your phone. • Enjoy refreshed pass cards and navigation, improved forecast loading, and fixes for satellite navigation and pass reminders. • Improved translations and localized date and time formatting.
