This is a marketing company, app fails if you run protection

Had to go to safari and “turn off content blockers” just to see subscriptions in the app. Then when I bought a year, app doesn’t function anyway, just hangs. It seems this facade of an app is actually just a vacuum for your personal information. To their credit, they don’t go far to hide it. It’s laden with Google spyware, had to get past an annoying 12-stage Google “captcha” on their website just to log in! I have no idea how good the app actually is, because this is about the marketing company. They are so focused on themselves and getting as much of your personal information as possible that they forgot to make the app functional. And this is the PAID subscription- $120 a year for this spyware?!? THAT’S “crafty” if anyone actually continues to pay for this. Instant refund request, Google and other spyware PLUS YOU CHARGE A HEFTY SUBSCRIPTION FEE?

Can’t even log in

There’s a new deal to become a premium member today if you’re a T-Mobile customer. I’ve never heard of this app but as a crafty person I was so excited when I saw the deal. And immediately tried to join. But I can’t even make an account and log in to the app. It keeps timing out. Is this happening with anyone else? It seems based on the other reviews the app is pretty poorly managed.Update: the response to this is just a copy and paste of the original instructions which I followed the first time. Not helpful and I still am unable to log into the app.

Thank you for your review. The offer is still Live until the end of the day Monday April 1, 2024. To redeem please follow the steps below: In your T-Mobile app, save the offer to ‘My Stuff’. Go into ‘My Stuff’ and click on Redeem. You will then be redirected to the Craftsy app where you will be asked to enter your username and create a password for new members, or to login if you have been an existing customer. If you already have an active paying membership, the offer is not available. Click on Activate Membership and enter in your card details to complete the membership activation. You will get a confirmation pop-up by your app store that the membership is active. Thanks!

Craftsy is an amazing resource for anyone who loves learning new skills and improving their craft. The video classes are clear and easy to follow, with great instructors across knitting, sewing, quilting, cooking, and more. I love that I can download lessons for offline viewing and revisit them anytime. Having access to patterns and class materials in one place makes projects much easier to start and finish. It truly feels like having a full craft library in my pocket.

Most complicated app Ive used

when you become a member, you cannot easily find out what type of membership you have. There doesn’t seem to be any benefit to paying for a membership since the things that you get for free are the same ones included with the membership. I still have no idea if I upgraded, or what I can use without getting charged for once became a member. I tried to get into the class that I joined specifically just to be a part of and they still wanted to charge me for the class, so what’s the point
