The whole concept and workout is great but the app is underdeveloped and the machine is archaic. Firstly, there is no volume control within the app…and the default volume is so loud that you can’t even play your own music because the voice of the tapes overpowers it. Secondly they obviously haven’t through out their workout combos…if you select the 40 minute session you are most likely going to get the same exercise multiple times in a row (I.e. I did a 40 minute session of the advanced workout this morning and the first 5 exercises were the same)…this is extraordinarily frustrating. Thirdly, a lot of the times you’ll get the wrong voiceover for the workout you’re supposed to be doing so the exercise and the instruction don’t match, super confusing. Lastly, for a 400 dollar machine I would have hoped that the actual equipment was nicer than just a wheelie platform on a metal frame. I mean you can get relatively nice quality treadmills for less than this…I would have expected a hydraulic system with a more comfortable foot base and more control. Overall a disappointing purchase given the amount you spend.

So I did the same thing everyone did and hit “next” after selecting a country and the app hit an error. For anyone interested in this app, don’t bother. There have been no updates to the app version in a year despite the numerous complaints. I’m a programmer and know garbage when I see it. If the company can’t handle creating and maintaining the simple process of account creation and authentication, then the company just produces garbage. I think the thing that’s most appalling is that there are several reviews complaining about this defect and there is still no new version with bug fixes. I can’t believe apple still allows this app on its platform. Also, why does the company keep asking people to email them? You have the reviews and there’s no reason you need to make customers do additional work. Get a good product owner and a decent app engineer and start testing your product… A couple weeks later I’m adding to my review. I figured out this app was only tested on desktops once I was able to successfully register on a desktop. When I first wrote this review, I got an email from the Aeroski people asking for my platform and version info. That’s seriously infuriating given how many people have complained and they still aren’t doing anything to fix that defect. Then today, I found two more defects. First one is that the tips are all in a foreign language. There should be a disclaimer if users are all expected to be multi-lingual. However, since the rest of the app is in English, I’m betting this is just more laziness on the part of Aeroski. The second defect is that the lateral raise video in the upper body section of exercises shows a video of the model raising her arm but the audio is instructing to raise the leg. This app has been developed so sloppily that I’m definitely questioning my purchase.

I was so excited to get this and try it out, but to say I’m disappointed is a major understatement. First of all, the worst of it is that my phone goes to sleep per it’s normal setting. This app does not keep it from going to sleep. I have to stop what I’m doing every minute, take my phone out of the goggles, wake my phone up and go again. I contacted support and they told me that I need to change the settings on my phone to where it doesn’t go to sleep. This is not something I should have to do every time I want to use this app. They told me that that’s the only solution or I can be refunded before 30 days. Wow, how about you fix that in your app…tons of apps can keep your phone from going to sleep while in use. Not sure why Aeroski can’t figure it out. Also, there is absolutely no adjustment to get a clear view of the scenery…the adjustments on the goggles go from super blurry to blurry. That’s it! I have 20/20 vision, so it’s not my eyes. Very disappointing purchase and app. If you can fix these issues, I think this would be a really great item!

I’ve tried all Aeroski provided troubleshooting recommendations without avail. Have been trying to access the app daily since the Aeroski machine was delivered to me 2.5 weeks ago now. No matter the time of day, the app displays the following same prompt, every time: “Something didn’t work. An error has occurred. Try again in a few minutes, we are working on it.” What’s going on over there Aeroski app development team? I’m looking at other reviews and it seems this has been an ongoing issue for what seems to be months?Aeroski CEO, my kids are highly disappointed. They were looking forward to the awesome Aeroski advertised experience. Let’s hurry and get this app working. While returning the machine won’t be an issue, I would really prefer to keep it. Just need this promised “fun” app to work, so that I may motivate my kids to exercise. I’ll wait one more week before sending the machine back; Really hoping to see results from your Aeroski development team within this time frame.
