Amiibox is built with privacy in mind. That means that no data is sent to developers or any other third party*. Amiibox does not send any amiibo data anywhere. Amiibox does not have any tracking tools in the app. All your amiibo data is stored privately on your device and only you have access to it.

I was looking for an updated app and found this one… now I consider myself tech savvy (but not a pro) and other apps had me so frustrated and confused… this app is the BEST! Sooooo easy to use! I love all of the information on each amiibo (game perks, etc). I do appreciate the free 3 writes so you can get a feel for how the app works before buying credits or upgrading (just upgrade, it’s totally worth it!). The only thing that would make this app better is if I had a way to create folders for my collection into which game they are for. Bonus points if there were several sort options too, like alphabetical and by series. Kudos on a great app! Thanks so much for updating!

If you are wanting to make your own amiibo cards then this app is great! I’ve been able to make every single amiibo that I’ve wanted to and been able to find a .bin file for. I paid about $10 for the premium service to write unlimited nfc tags and it’s well worth the price with how many I have made for myself as well as gifts for my siblings and nieces/nephews to use in their games. It is easy to read/write tags and if it just won’t work after multiple tries, the tag itself is a dud, not a fault of the app. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to write their own tags!

This app is better than any Amiibo Management App I have found, in my opinion. There is a My Amiibo tab to show all Amiibos that you have in the app through scans or bin files being copied into the folder Amiibox. There is another tab for Amiibox you are missing from your collection. It can read Amiibos, read bin file backups of Amiibos when copied to the local Amiibox folder on your device (the app has great instructions on how to do this). When you tap on an Amiibo it will show all the details you need (picture of physical Amiibo, games it is used on and other details.).

Normally I don’t write reviews but this is a special occasion. I recently wanted to get an amiibo for super smash bros ultimate. Unfortunately, I soon realized they are very expensive and are rare to find. Thus I sought to find other alternatives and found this. It didn’t take me much time to find out how to use it and then I was able to use it without a problem. Overall, this app works great and is the best one out there right now. If you need to get an amiibo for any reason I fully recommended getting this app and using it!
