A product that every sports parent or athlete should get

X bot go is such a useful tool when it comes to recording your child or if you’re a player game, it makes it easy effective and efficient and it saves you time and hassle from all the other things that normally come with recording game. In addition, it comes with an amazing free app that gives you the opportunity to store and edit games in real time. Plus, the app is always upgrading so new features and software are being developed consistently. What I enjoy is the AI featured camera that captures real emotional moments. Being that I really got the opportunity to meet the inventors. I can say his vision behind this product really wants to save the energy that comes with recording. It is very affordable being that it has all of the latest features. I highly recommend everybody checking this out.

Camera Does not Track

The unit that I purchased never worked from the time I took it out of the box. Specifically, it never tracked the action (Basketball). In addition, it constantly disconnects from Bluetooth, resulting in a bright blinking light that detracts players in the court. Instead of simply returning it for a refund, I made the mistake of working with tech-support. I uploaded many files, followed all of their requests and instructions to help them troubleshoot and improve the solution and device. I spent many hours working with them, all to the benefit of their company, but getting nothing in return. I finally said that I was going to return the unit, and support told me that they could handle the whole return and exchange on their end. I also believed that, and that was also a mistake. After several weeks of being promised, the new unit, I have not received any updates. Product functionality and support have been a major disappointment. I know this product works for a lot of people, but not for me, and they are not doing a good job of standing behind their product. I hope others have better luck than I did.

Great this far & can’t beat the price

I’ve been using for a few months now - started in fall for a few full field youth soccer games and now indoor youth basketball games. The tracking is definitely much better with basketball games vs soccer but both are good. I’ve also been live streaming the basketball games for grandparents living hours away and they are loving it. In basketball games it’s missed one or two plays a game due to getting sidetracked on people walking into the gym, but again I think it’s really great overall.

I've used our XBotGo for 3 games now. It seems to do a lot better for the first 1/3 to 1/2 of games, then tends to drift almost aimlessly. One setting that I wasn't aware of was the max pan/rotation angle, which defaults to a wide enough angle in both directions to capture some action behind the camera's location. I look forward to testing it again with a smaller rotation angle. I've also struggled trying to get it to show up within my iPhone's bluetooth devices list. What I think I've figured out is that it seems to connect more quickly from directly within the XBotGo app- just repeatedly try to start a recording, mixing in bluetooth restarts on the XBotGo device until it says "Connected Successfully". Also, it'd be nice if the soccer AI mode did a better job ignoring the near-side AR and his shiny flag.
