MEAL app is based on Harvard Medical School research, and we partner with certified nutritionists and therapists.

Meal is not a diet, it is changing lives.

I started Meal a little over a month ago and I can honestly say it is so much more than I expected. I am 65, and had rotator cuff surgery a week or so prior to starting Meal because I wanted to get fit, lose weight and get ready for retirement. I have done many diets in my life and the only ones that actually ever worked were the total fasting ones. I lost the weight and did it really quickly, problem is I could not sustain it because you have to go back to eating food and those diets never taught you how to eat real food with calories and fat and carb’s so the only thing that changed was the size of clothes I wore. Meal did not make me stop eating anything, no crazy restrictions and no starvation. Meal changed my life by introducing me to actual food and knowledge of what is different about the foods I eat and how I choose what I eat. You never walk away from a meal hungry nor do I go to bed hungry. I actually have lost weight, every day my scale changes. Meal is the best gift I have ever given myself. Again Meal is not a diet, it is a program that changes lives and allows you to live your best life because it gives you knowledge to succeed.

It is a miracle 👌👌👌how well this approach suits my nature. Scaffolded eating and fasting where your accountability to yourself is the only thing that matters. It feels a bit like winning a time-management game, and the pay-off is good health, energy, self-respect and pride. are supported in a gentle, informative, targeted, non-intrusive and helpful way by professional contributors who provide guidance and education by way of digestible articles. Content is good…when you get it

I actually really love the content and I feel like it is helping me. But I often go days without getting new content! It’s supposed to be new content daily, so I understand, but it will give me the same content for days and tell me it’s “completed” (so it knows I’ve already listened to them). I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app several times and it doesn’t help. That’s not even the worst part-the worst part is that the customer service is terrible. The first time I reached out and said “I’m still in my free trial but I’m already having issues with the app. New content isn’t loading each day. I don’t want to pay for the subscription when the app clearly isn’t working.“ The response was “don’t worry about it, our app is glitchy right now but we’re working to fix it. I will let you know when it’s fixed.” Instead two days later my card was charged for the subscription anyway and now no one will respond to my messages on the app. I’ve messaged at least four times and no one has ever responded again. It’s so frustrating.

Hello. Sorry so very much for the frustration! Unfortunately we had a bad server bug, which made the content stuck on day two. Please, accept our apologies for this. The bug is fixed, and the app should start functioning as it should from now on. Please, update to the latest version and you'll see the new content right away. Hopefully, this will never happen again. Anyways, we're happy to know our app's content helps you. Thank you for starting your journey with MEAL.
