I was able to send money after so much hassle and after spending hours. This app needs so much improvement. CBE needs to take user feedbacks seriously and fix issues. The app developer also need to be ashamed of the issues and need to create a better version. Below are among the issues 1) transaction fails for no reason it says error but it doesn’t mention where the error is. 2) you need to let the user save the payment method/ debit card and address and let the user use that instead of asking the user complete debit card and address information every single time. Today I sent $10K and I have to complete that hundred times as most of the transactions were declining. 3) CBE need to increase limit from 1000 per transactions so that a user can complete a transaction once instead of multiple exhausting times

I have used the app several times and it is really great when it works. However there are days and at times weeks where you get an error message when entering card information and the app doesn’t tell you what went wrong. I know they use a different company to process the card payments and not sure if the issue is with CBE or the card processing company.

Would be even better if you include an option to store payment information like debit card, so that we don’t have to fill it out every time. And if there’s an option to resend to someone from history, that would be great as well. Add there is a bug where if you click on get receipt from history, it sends an email as if you just made a new transfer and that is really confusing and should be turned off. Other than that, it just works. Thanks.

I had a very disappointing experience with EthioDirect. Their service is extremely poor, and the customer support is just as bad. The application itself is unreliable — you can’t successfully complete transactions no matter how many times you try. Payments keep getting declined over and over, and it feels like they never update or improve their system.It is incredibly frustrating when you need to send money for your business, family, or any urgent matter, only to be blocked by a broken app and unhelpful service. Overall, EthioDirect is unreliable and not a service I would recommend to anyone.
