Limited Features that often don’t work

Reached out to the support team about several issues including the fact that my team cannot upload receipts for Emburse card transactions (a major feature of the app) and they just keep asking me the same questions over and over (for a month) in lieu of offering solutions.

Just because an app CAN do it all doesn’t mean it should—-Emburse Spend mobile focuses on the handful of features I actually use without the noise of the rest. I love how easy it is to capture/upload receipts with the Emburse Spend app. It auto-matches my receipts with my corporate transactions as soon as they come in, and even auto-populates them with things like the category, expense field, etc. I love that I no longer have to deal with expense reports and that I can get my spend to my manager from my phone in seconds! 🙏🙏

The app is simple and easy to use. I love that I get a notification to remind me to take a picture of my receipt because I’m terrible at remembering. Using the app, I never forget to take a pic of my receipt and I upload it right away.

This app is clearly not tested by real users before deploying updates. It is not functional, and often times whole operations in it don’t work. Split expenses, for example, don’t let you change the drop down options at all after splitting. New “AI” feature to add expense details from the receipt just spins for 10 seconds and then doesn’t do anything, and no option to skip it.
