I absolutely love this app, and have ALREADY presented it in an IEP as an app I’d like to trial for a student who recently qualified for AAC. I am a huge TouchChat fan (for many reasons), but there are certain students I have a hard time “selling” the concept of communication to. Qvoice provides GIFs and stickers as options for icon images that really pull those students in (those that appear to be content with not communicating/interacting with others). This small unique feature in itself is a game changer for me in my mod/elementary school SLP position. I still love TouchChat, and it will continue to be the app I use for many of my more advanced communicators (amongst other apps), but I think Qvoice is the app I’ve been waiting for that will help/allow my non-speaking/minimally verbal students to have a voice (and enjoy having a voice). In addition to the moving picture icons, I absolutely love how quick/easy/intuitive it is to search for icons, change layout, and program/edit each profile (and maintain consistent icon placement across pages). My last point is a feature I haven’t seen on other apps and it’s one of my favorite features. I could honestly write a page about each feature/component of this app that I love, but I just encourage anyone on the fence to just take advantage of the free license they are giving to all service providers and try it out. Also customer service is incredibly efficient/helpful (another perk). Thank you QVoice for all that you’ve done to make this happen!! You’ve just made the last 2.5 months of school a whole lot more exciting!

I run an ABA clinic for children with Profound Autism and use this app almost exclusively for their communication needs. The customizability of the app compounded with the ability to analyze data any number of ways makes it a no-brainer for us teaching communication; and those that are using it are learning to communicate with efficiency. If you haven’t used it, turn on the AI function and you can turn a two-hit sequence into a full sentence just by teaching a three-hit sequence. It’s not for everyone but the nice thing is you can turn off any of the bells-and-whistles within the preference menu. I can’t recommend this app enough especially for nonverbal young learners or those with emerging language. BCBAs/SLPs - wait until you see the data analysis! No more data sheets to track usage and make clinical decisions easier and more timely = better outcomes for learners.

This AAC app is really easy to use, even for beginners. Setting it up is quick, and the simple layout makes communication easier right away. It’s not just helpful for the person using it—it also makes things better for the whole family by reducing stress and helping everyone understand each other more clearly.Overall, it’s more than just a communication tool—it’s a bridge to connection and progress for everyone involved.

As a BCBA/Clinical Director, I have witnessed the effectiveness of QVoice firsthand. The features of the app make it user friendly for beginning learners but at the same time it is sophisticated for those who have more developed skills. Having utilized multiple different AAC softwares and builds, this app checks all of the boxes. Additionally, we had a general question this past week regarding one of our learners profiles, the owners of the app set up a meeting to assist us, within minutes.
