Maybe it’s because I’ve played every preceding glitch game, but this one was just too easy for me. I may have figured out the different types of puzzles too well, I always enjoy the artwork, the music and the general vibe of the games but in this one, I felt a little bit more like I was just playing along with a movie or something of the sort because the puzzles lack depth. I really enjoyed the overall structure of it though, I enjoy the mystery that glitch puts into their games and I love that they reference previous games and even future games in each individual one. Probably my favorite game creator, but they’re just not quite getting five stars on this one only because the puzzles were too easy!!!

If you’re like me and enjoy an interactive adventure puzzle like The Room series, The Legacy series, and Da Vinci House, you will love Incoherence! The storyline is interesting and captivating, the gameplay is smooth and intuitive while being just challenging enough to be fun without being maddening. The hint feature is a great option if you’re stuck, I love that you can choose to get a little hint or reveal the answer, eliminating accidental spoilers. 10/10 would highly recommend. This is a game I will definitely come back to and play again. I only hope they make a sequel, because I would love to find out what’s going on with this character, and have the opportunity to play their original, creative, and fun puzzles. The only issue I had came maybe around the third round of slides. My app began crashing when I was trying to access my photos. Not sure if this was my phone or the app itself, but I didn’t try to troubleshoot because I found I didn’t need the camera feature much as I could rely on my memory, so I could complete the game without it. This game is well worth the price, continued quite a bit longer than I expected, and was a joy to play. Do yourself a favor and get the game, it’s worth it. Developers: You did an amazing job! Glitch creates another brilliant escape/adventure game!“Incoherence,” is set up differently than their prior games, such as Veritas. In fact, it’s much more like their “Great Escapes” packs where each level has all its design/clues/items contained within that one room/space. So that reduces the overall challenge... meaning it was definitely easier & shorter than prior Glitch games.Tbh, I was hoping for another Veritas-style adventure game. Veritas was amazing... an entire world was created, storyline developed, dozens of rooms/scenes to explore...and the exciting challenge of finding items and figuring out where/how to use them. So I understand the reviewers who had been hoping the same thing. BUT...this game was still brilliantly Glitch! The set up of different panels to go through the different spaces was a fun twist. The reason Glitch outshines most other developers is simply because their puzzles are SO non-linear. Lots of creativity and mind-bending thought goes into all their games.Seems to me that Glitch wants to continually push ahead...and trying different game styles is part of the Glitch uniqueness not commonly found out there.Though I can’t lie... my fingers are crossed that their next release will be another Veritas-style adventure! (Please...? For us fans who love the challenge and appreciate your brilliance... 😊)Truly, got mad respect for you guys. And thank you for not going all political or social. Having played all the usual suspects in the puzzle adventure genre including the Forever Lost series and Veritas I was disappointed with this game. It was seriously easy and therefore short. Each segment of the game is compartmentalized into four rooms. You enter a room and you’re stuck there until you solve the puzzles in that room. Therefore, almost all of the clues within each room are associated with the puzzles in that room. The one or two clues or items not relevant to that room will be used in one of the other four rooms in that chapter. This is the downfall, in my opinion. Since, like most all the other games, I don’t have to figure out where on some large area that usually requires a map I will use each item or clue. You know each item or clue will be used on the one or two puzzles within the room where you found them. This makes the game quite easy. I never use hints in any of these games and I’m used to getting stuck for days at a time once or twice per game. This game took me a few hours.
