This update makes it easier to find what you like, keep it close, and discover something new through the interests of other people on Adry. We’ve added a new visual way to search. You can now explore Chapters through images and discover things before you even know exactly what to search for. We’ve also improved how unavailable images are handled, so browsing stays clean and continuous. Search within Tables has also been improved, making it easier to reach the Chapters you are looking for from the words you have in mind. The way you save Tables is now unified around Keep. When you find a Table you want to return to, keeping it as part of your interests is now clearer and more straightforward. The main navigation has also been reorganized. Feed, your kept Tables, Search, Kao switching, and Profile are now easier to move between. Kao profiles have received a major update as well. Chapters from Tables you and another Kao have in common can now appear more naturally, making it easier to notice where your interests meet. Scrolling through Kao profiles is now smoother, including profiles with Chapters that contain links or other content that takes additional time to load. Highlight has also been improved so repeatedly viewing the same Chapter does not cause the same activity to happen again. This release also fixes several issues involving Kao names and profile images, locked Chapters, loading other Kao profiles, disappearing content during navigation, and other display problems. We’ve also reduced unnecessary loading and communication throughout the app to make everyday use lighter, faster, and more stable. Rather than simply adding more features, this update focuses on making the movement between finding something, keeping it, meeting someone through it, and discovering the next thing feel more natural throughout Adry.

Reacting to photos and videos is now faster and more intuitive. You can now double-tap an image or video to react instantly. When you do, the selected reaction briefly appears on the media and moves toward the reaction area. We also refined tap behavior so opening media, visiting an article, and reacting with a double-tap all work naturally together. Opening a conversation from a notification now takes you directly to the relevant interaction. After a limited period, existing messages remain available to read while new comments and reactions are closed, allowing each conversation to stay connected to the moment in which it happened. We improved the way quoted posts and their media are displayed. Photos now keep more natural proportions without unnecessary empty space, and quoted content is shown correctly when viewing publicly shared posts. You can now change the emoji associated with your profile directly in the app. Profiles of people who reacted to a post are also easier to open, and loading your own profile is noticeably faster. Looks Good can now be organized by both profile and Table. Visibility can be managed separately for each Table, making it easier to keep track of what caught your attention while choosing what you want to share publicly. HighLight settings are now available more consistently across Tables, including Tables you are not currently following. We also fixed an issue where these settings could remain out of sync after switching between profiles. News and link previews have also been improved. When a preview image cannot be displayed correctly, Adry now tries to use another available image instead, reducing empty or broken-looking previews. We fixed an issue that could occasionally cause the app to close when moving between follower profiles, making profile navigation more stable. A new “You” button has been added to the top of the feed, giving you one-tap access to posts directed toward you in addition to the existing swipe gesture. We also fixed navigation issues that could cause the bottom bar to disappear after returning from another screen, as well as an issue where a post opened from a notification could appear again after restarting the app. This update focuses on making the movement between seeing something, reacting to it, saving it, continuing a conversation, and discovering another person or Table feel more immediate and connected.

This update makes writing, revisiting, and reading on Adry feel more connected. You can now edit a Chapter for up to six hours after publishing it. Text, details, images, and videos can all be changed. A Chapter no longer has to be finished the moment it is published. You can return to it, refine what you meant, and let the writing settle into its final form. Edited Chapters are clearly marked as edited. When you reach the end of a Table, you may now find Chapters that were widely read in the past. Adry brings back selected Chapters from different points in the Table’s history, giving older writing another chance to be discovered. What was written before does not simply disappear beneath what is new. A Chapter can return to someone at a different moment and be read again in a different context. Context now includes a way to see places where no connecting statement can be found between two parts of a piece of writing. Rather than judging the writing or deciding whether an idea is right or wrong, Context stays with the words that are actually there. It helps you notice where one thought moves into another, and where the connection has been left unwritten. If you use more than one Kao, Adry can now help you continue reading with another Kao when the current one does not have access to a Chapter but one of your other Kao does. You can switch and continue reading without leaving what you were looking at. We also redesigned the Table selection experience when creating a Chapter and fixed cases where duplicate or empty Tables could appear. Several issues around moving from the sharing menu into quoting or reporting a Chapter have also been resolved, along with other small interface and behavior improvements throughout Adry.

This update brings reading and thinking closer together in Adry. ■ Introducing Context Sometimes you read a Chapter and something stays with you. You want to explore it further, but you are not necessarily looking for an immediate answer. Context is a new place in Adry for exactly that. Rather than pushing you toward an answer or judgment, Context helps you look at the events, relationships, and connections already present in what you are reading, giving you space to continue thinking for yourself. You can take a Chapter directly into Context, keep it as a reference while you explore your thoughts, and return to the original Chapter whenever you want. Context is designed as a private space for your own thinking. ■ A more natural Context experience We redesigned the conversation experience to make the flow easier to follow. Messages now include timestamps, the input field expands naturally as you write, and you can dismiss the keyboard with a swipe. When Context intentionally leaves a question open, you can also view a hint explaining why. ■ Continue thinking directly from a Chapter When you reach the end of a Chapter, you can now bring it directly into Context. The referenced Chapter remains visible inside the conversation, including its image, and you can return to the original Chapter with a single tap. A more intuitive way to switch between Feed and You Until now, a horizontal swipe would switch screens right away. From this update, the content settles at about one quarter of the screen width, revealing a "You" or "Feed" action. The switch happens only when you tap that action — tap the content side to cancel. This cuts down accidental switches and lets you move between Feed and You at your own pace. A new "Table Related News" label for auto-gathered topics An Adry Table can automatically gather and show news related to its topic. From this update, such auto-generated news carries a "Table Related News" label. Tap the label to see a note explaining that the news was generated automatically by the Table and was not posted by a user. Now you can tell at a glance who posted something and where the information came from, and read with confidence. In-review posts now stay on your own profile Publishing to a Table can include a review step. Previously, a post wouldn't appear on your profile until publishing was confirmed, which could make it feel like your post had vanished. With this fix, posts under review now show up on your own profile as expected (they appear in other people's Feed and You only after publishing is confirmed). No more worrying that your writing disappeared. For Table owners: more flexible image settings Table owners can now choose more flexibly how images in incoming posts are handled, making it easier to run a Table that fits its intended atmosphere and policy. We'll keep improving Adry as a comfortable place for expression that follows your context. We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback.

This update strengthens two core parts of Adry: designing your own timeline and shaping the character of each Table. You can now simulate your timeline. Choose whether to view posts by Table or as a dynamic timeline. Adjust how widely you want to explore, how much freshness matters, how close posts should be to your interests, and how much outside content should appear. Instead of only receiving recommendations, you can move the controls yourself and see how your information flow changes. We also added Table Atmosphere. Table Atmosphere helps define what kind of place a Table is. Owners can set the Table’s interests, tone, writing style, desired aftertaste, and directions they want to avoid. This makes it easier to decide whether a Chapter fits the Table before it appears there. Chapter intake has also been improved. For each Table, owners can choose whether incoming Chapters are reviewed manually or automatically. In manual mode, Chapters are kept as drafts until the owner confirms them. In automatic mode, Adry checks whether the Chapter fits the Table and keeps it as a draft when review is needed. This helps each Table receive posts while preserving its atmosphere. Table Studio has also been reorganized. Table image, name, description, news visibility, Connect, Atmosphere, and Chapter intake settings can now be managed in one place. Each setting screen also reflects the Table’s own colors, making the Table’s identity easier to understand. We also improved everyday usability: you can revisit Chapters you marked as “Yosage” from your own Kao page, see pending Draft badges, adjust reaction push notifications per Table, get better hashtag suggestions while creating Chapters, and enjoy improved image and video display. Adry is not just a place where information flows past you. It is a place to observe your interests, shape the atmosphere of your Tables, and adjust how information reaches you.

This update improves how new users begin using Adry and how they participate inside each Table. After the initial setup, the fixed Table suggestions have been updated. New options such as Developers, Weekly Shonen Jump, Economy, Generative AI, and Semiconductor Topics have been added to make it easier to start with interests that feel familiar and relevant. We also added a Mini posting form on Table detail screens. You can now start writing a Chapter more lightly while staying inside the Table, without opening the full posting screen first. The input area begins compactly and expands naturally as you write. The posting flow has also been adjusted. Hashtags and media attachment behavior are now simpler, and content started from the Mini form can be carried into the regular Chapter creation screen when needed. The comment experience on Chapter detail screens has also been improved. We fixed an issue where the comment input bar at the bottom of the screen might not reappear after scrolling. It now hides while scrolling and returns naturally after scrolling stops. This update is designed to make Adry’s core experience clearer: a quieter social space where you choose what you see and participate at your own pace.

This update improves the stability and flow of switching between Kao and Tables inside Adry. In Adry, you choose a Kao and move between the Tables connected to that Kao. With this update, your selected Kao and joined Tables are restored more naturally when reopening the app or opening the switcher. We also improved how joined Tables appear while data is still loading. When available, Adry now uses saved information to show your Tables sooner, reducing cases where the switcher looks empty even though you have joined Tables. After leaving a Table, the app is also less likely to remain in an empty or unstable state. Related screen transitions, Feed behavior, and Tab refresh timing have been adjusted so movement after switching feels smoother. This is not a large feature release, but a refinement of the core Adry experience: helping you understand which Kao you are using, which Table you are in, and where you can move next.

This update makes Adry quieter, easier to read, and more stable. Calmer nights Adry has a "quiet time" from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During these hours, what's visible gently narrows, so you can spend time without being chased by information. We've reworked all of the messaging and guidance for this nighttime experience. It's now clearer what the quiet time is for. Night is not a time to "hold back." Even when the visible range narrows, you can always return to your own posts, the interest spaces you've chosen, and the news. You can always check why something is shown and review your settings. And in the morning, everything opens back up to its usual range. "This is a quiet time." "A night you can return to your own space." "It opens up again in the morning." We've refined the words shown on screen to match this experience, across Japanese, English, and Korean. Easier to read We've changed the order in which posts are displayed, so the text of a post now appears before its image. Previously, the image appeared first and large—before you could tell what the post was actually about. Now the words come first, followed by the image. Even when you're skimming your timeline, you'll know what a post is about right away. In list views, body text is now trimmed to a maximum of three lines, so you can take in many posts at a glance. On the post detail screen, the full text is shown without trimming, just as before. We've also unified the display order so the impression matches between the timeline and the detail view. Link previews, quotes, and image zoom all work exactly as before. We've simply made the visual flow feel more natural. A more stable app Occasionally, when you closed the app and reopened it after a while, the app could quietly restart itself internally and lose the state you were looking at. We've identified the cause of this and are rolling out improvements. This version adds the means to understand these instabilities in detail and fix them reliably. Stability will keep improving in upcoming updates. Safer login We fixed an issue where, after deleting and reinstalling the app, you could be taken to the wrong screen instead of back to login. Now, even after reinstalling or switching devices, your login state is judged correctly, preventing the sign-up flow and an existing login state from getting mixed up. You can start using the app with confidence. A clearer way to choose interest spaces During initial setup, when you choose interest spaces, you can now preview how a space connects to others, right then and there. Tapping opens a preview of those connections; you confirm with the "Choose" button or a few seconds of automatic progression. Instead of a selection being locked in instantly, you can look first and then decide for yourself—so you always know what you're choosing. — Adry isn't an app that competes on the volume of information. The interests you choose stay with you, as yours. A place to engage with what you love, quietly, at your own pace. We'll keep improving with calm and clarity at heart.

What’s New This update improves the notification experience and overall app stability. Some Table-related notifications now open the appropriate Table more naturally. Whether you open them from the notification list or directly from a push notification, Adry will guide you to the relevant place more smoothly. We also adjusted notification icons so that Table-related notifications are easier to recognize. In the Table switching screen, you can now swipe horizontally to browse Table lists for each Kao. This makes it easier to compare and move between Tables when using multiple Kao profiles. We also improved stability during app launch and when returning to the app. If temporary data on the device causes issues, Adry is now better prepared to avoid startup problems and keep the experience stable. Adry will continue improving the experience of connecting with people and topics through shared interests and Tables.

This update introduces Connect, a new way to discover relationships between Tables in Adry. Connect helps you find Tables that share similar themes, moods, or areas of interest. When you view or select a Table, Adry can now show related Tables nearby, making it easier to move naturally from one interest to another. On the Table selection screen, you can now preview connected Tables before switching. Related Tables, connection strength, and Table Trend News-style cards help you understand the surrounding context at a glance. We also added Connect relevance indicators to Chapter-related screens. This makes it easier to see how a post is connected to other Tables and how different spaces relate to each other. For first-time users, we added a new Connect tutorial. It explains what Connect is, how visibility works, and how users can take part in shaping the relevance between Tables. Pull to Refresh has also been improved. When you manually refresh the Feed, Adry now reloads the current Feed quickly while also requesting a deeper refresh when needed. Repeated refreshes are controlled to keep the experience stable. We also improved readability in dark mode, including text colors, backgrounds, and Connect-related panels across multiple screens. Adry is not just about reading posts. It is about moving through connected spaces of interest and discovering where you belong. With this update, the relationships between Tables are easier to see, and the world inside Adry feels more connected.

This update adds a new way to suggest connections between Tables. In Adry, each Table does not have to stand alone. Tables with related interests or nearby themes can gradually become connected, making the surrounding context easier to discover. With this update, you can suggest a connection to another visible Table when you feel the relationship makes sense. From the proposal screen, you can search for a target Table, compare it with the Table you are viewing, set the strength of the relationship, and add a short reason for the proposal. Proposals are not applied immediately. They are sent as candidates for the Table owner to review. We also improved the feel of Feed interactions. Horizontal areas inside Feed, such as multiple images, multiple links, Table headers, and Kao shelves, are now handled more carefully. When you start swiping inside these areas, Adry will no longer accidentally trigger a Feed/You transition. This reduces unintended screen changes when browsing images, switching links, or scrolling through horizontal content. We also adjusted tap behavior during parent-level horizontal gestures, helping prevent posts from opening by mistake while you are swiping. Overall, this update expands Adry’s experience of making relationships between interests visible, while making everyday browsing smoother and more stable.

This update improves the first-time experience in Adry. We adjusted the flow from the terms screen to the welcome screen, Table selection, Kao creation, name entry, and completion screen so new users can move through the setup more easily. On the welcome screen, we replaced the previous emoji with an image icon that better fits Adry’s visual style. We also refined the welcome title and adjusted the text weight so the screen feels cleaner and easier to read. We updated the first Kao choices as well. Users can now start with options such as an octopus, alien, brain, unicorn, and idea, making it easier to choose a Kao with personality. On the Table screen, we added a notification badge to the Connect icon when there is something to check. This helps Table owners notice Connect-related updates more easily. We also fixed an issue in the Connect candidate screen where tapping one button could sometimes trigger the wrong confirmation. Actions such as request, connect, approve, and reject now behave more reliably. This update focuses on making Adry easier to start, easier to understand, and easier to manage.

Introducing Algorithm Transparency Settings This update brings one of Adry's core values to life in a more tangible way: the idea that you should be able to choose how your experience works. New Feature: Algorithm Transparency A new "Algorithm Transparency" section has been added to the Kao Settings screen. Tapping it opens a dedicated settings page where you can learn about how your feed works — and decide how you want it to behave. The settings page includes a detailed explanation modal, organized into clear sections so you can read as much or as little as you like. Feed Opt-Out Toggle A toggle on the new settings screen lets you opt out of algorithmic feed ranking. When opt-out is enabled, the feed title changes color so you always know which mode you're in — no need to open settings to check. The color adapts to your display mode: a calm blue in light mode, and a muted blue-grey in dark mode. What the Explanation Covers The in-app explanation walks through three topics: What Algorithm Transparency means on Adry How the opt-out feature works in practice Adry's design philosophy and your right to choose It's written to be readable by anyone, not just those familiar with how recommendation systems work. Available in Three Languages All new text in this update — including the settings screen and explanation modal — is fully localized in Japanese, English, and Korean. Built to Stay Light This feature was designed to work within Adry's existing data architecture. Settings load with a single fetch, and no additional background listeners were introduced. The update adds meaningful control without adding overhead.

This update improves the Life experience, notification navigation, and posting stability. Life timelines now include clearer first-time guidance for both owners and members. The guidance explains invitation by PIN code, posting, participation rules, and how Life works, making it easier to understand before getting started. We also added guidance for important Life rules, such as what happens after a period of inactivity and how nighttime visibility works. This helps reduce confusion after joining or creating a Life. Notification navigation has also been improved. When you tap notifications for comments, reactions, or replies, Adry now opens the related post or thread more reliably. Older notifications and notifications with limited information are handled more gracefully whenever possible. We also reviewed cases where quoted posts and the post creation screen could feel heavy, and improved the stability of screen transitions, previews, and text input. This version also includes improvements to important startup messages so they remain visible when needed, along with updated Japanese, English, and Korean text. Adry is now easier to understand, easier to return to, and more stable for ongoing conversations.
