The Best F1 App

This is by far the best F1 App, and I’ve tried most of them. Happy to pay the subscription as the developers are always updating and adding new features. The widgets are really great, and the app design is really slick, modern, and easy to navigate. My only small gripe is that it can sometimes take too long to update news or changes. For example, it was announced 7 hours ago that Verstappen had lost his P1 to Russell, yet the app is still showing Max in pole position for the Qatar Grand Prix. Would love to see this get a bit more timely.

The Best F1 App

This is by far the best F1 App, and I’ve tried most of them. Happy to pay the subscription as the developers are always updating and adding new features. The widgets are really great, and the app design is really slick, modern, and easy to navigate. My only small gripe is that it can sometimes take too long to update news or changes. This app has been great since the beginning. Although at first it was an all free app. I understand its growth and what comes with it. “$$$$$”I only wished that this company would show its appreciation to those early supporters of the app such as myself, by grandfathering in with maybe a one time fee versus a yearly subscription. I’ve experienced this in other apps such as “MyRadar” and have had no problem supporting further by buying stake in the company to further its progress. This cash grab idea keeps me from spending one cent on this app. Not because of the capitalization of the growing sport but the lack of appreciation to those who have supported this app in its early stages and also spreading word of mouth about them to have many more users. Us early users are a part of the reason you are where you are and to place us in the same category as those who didn’t believe in the app or are new to the sport feels like a slap to the face.

Race Time Changes Lack of Warning.

Did NOT warn early enough for population in certain time zones and did not send enough reminders about the time change of the race. Missed half the race due to the lack of multiple reminders of the time change. Sends too many pointless notifications and not enough actually beneficial or important reminders. The fact you have to search for the notification setting to shut off these AD notifications instead of them being in the “bell” itself is annoying considering there are several rotating ADs on each page you can not “X” out of. Ridiculous.***Edit: after the developer response, reached out to them via email after the semi unprofessional response below and upon emailing back they did not apologize or edit their response to be more appropriate given their previous responses being civil and genuine. Disappointed.

They’ve broken the best widget

The race schedule widget on the lock screen and Apple Watch used to always prioritize Qualis and Races. I always used to know when the next quali is. Right now, before the weekend starts, it only shows Race time. The two other slots are occupied but FPs. Very few people care about FPs. I understand that it will shift on Saturdays, but I really don’t like this change. Now, if I want to plan my weekend, I have to check the full schedule in Box Box or another app. I used to be able to just glance at my lock screen or a watch. Disappointing. It’s still an ok widget, but it’s really such a shame. Had I noticed it earlier, I probably wouldn’t have subscribed for this season.
