What is intermittent fasting?
Intermittent fasting is one of the most popular health and fitness trends. Instead of a diet, it's an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating. It doesn't specify which foods you should eat or avoid, but when you should eat.

5+2 Weekly Plan : During the week, eat normally for 5 days, and choose another 2 days for a little control.Women take 500Kcal and men take 600Kcal on fasting days. You can choose to take it all at once, but a better choice is to divide 600Kcal into two meals, 250Kcal for breakfast and 350Kcal for dinner. The food should preferably be some food with high protein content but low glycemic index (GI). It is not recommended to completely eliminate carbohydrates. When eating, chew slowly and savor well. The fasting days need to be separated, such as Monday and Thursday. This light fasting plan is healthy, effective and easy to implement, allowing you to lose weight easily while enjoying the other benefits of fasting. It can be performed long-term, gradually turning it into a healthy lifestyle.
16-8 is the most popular fasting plan for weight loss. With 16 hours fasting period, your body will gradually get used to fasting.

I’ve been making some healthy lifestyle changes as of late and I decided to get fasting another go round. I had such great results when I started fasting initially two years ago, but then I lost my way. I originally was using Fastic, which is another great app, but I thought I would look for something new on the market and then I came across, this app. I fell in love with it because of art style. It was cute font and quirky, and I decided to check it out as soon as I downloaded it I was impressed and engaged with all of the features. I love all the things that I can keep track of and I also love, the way it keeps encouraging you to continue to fast by growing your own plants. I love the art style. It is so cute and Kawaii. I almost never pay for apps right away, but I decided to get the lifetime premium membership and I am not disappointed if you’re looking for a fun new take on Fasting download this app you won’t regret it.

I had been using the Life fasting app for about a year and a half and it served my needs perfectly. Unfortunately, they just discontinued the app and it no longer works 😕. I am at my goal weight already and don’t need all of the bloated extras most fasting apps have for a hefty price. Having said that, I don’t mind paying for an app that I like either. I wanted an app that works with my watch, as it’s a much better reminder for me than just my phone, and I was hoping for one that I could schedule ahead. I typically fast at least 16:8 during the week, but usually fast less on the weekends. I liked that Life let me do both of those things and was not ridiculously expensive. Today I set out looking for a replacement app and after looking at at least 20 apps, came upon this one. This app is super cute and simple. I like that it works with my watch and has a widget. I thought I’d read in the description that it would allow you to schedule “days off,” but now to at I’ve paid for the app, I don’t see that function. I hope the developers keep this app super simple, but a scheduling option would be super nice. I’ll update my review after I’ve had a chance to use it a bit more.

I believe I already left a review but that was early on in my usage of the app. I’m back with some praises, a question and suggestion!The designs are great, the light theme is my favorite. I feel motivated from using this app and it’s helped me lose about 7-10 pounds this month.However, there are some little things that annoy me unfortunately!I appreciate entering my own sport but it gets exhausting - can the app be able to sync with my Apple Watch/health app? And/or allow us to override the apps default “burned” calculation so I can input my actual burn. And when it comes to entering the amount of time I slept, it would be easier to be able to input hours instead of minutes! Calorie/food tracker - I’d like to be able to have an overview of my daily calorie goal, what I’ve burned, and how many calories I have to use or gone over from eating. I believe this would be easy to implement because the record feature already adds up your daily calories per meal logged. This could easily be translated into 3 categories that I explained above with a goal, expenditure, and consumption - I’d love to see it on the homepage above or below the little plant growth <3 Otherwise, the app is amazing! I found this app while browsing for an alternative to the Zero app, and it’s everything I was looking for and more! And the cutest app on my whole phone too. I was happy to see the fasting tracker was so clean and informative, but I’m also excited to use it for weight, water, and step tracking too. Even though I’m not using them right now, the additional food journaling, sleep, and other trackers are really fantastic to have all in one place — and it’s amazing that you can customize what you see, and hide the tracking tools you aren’t using to clearly and quickly find what you DO use. This one app has basically replaced at least 4 others, and the price is better than any of them out there. All with the cutest design ever!
