I definitely recommend downloading this game. It’s an aromatic classic in my book. Shadow fight 2 was my life as a kid. I still remember all the controls. I’m glad they kept the controls and fights mechanics the same. I’m also glad they kept the same dojo background music!! so nostalgic and it honestly is a great sound for the game. Continuations like this can go wrong in so many ways and it seems they’ve really taken everything that was good about the game, didn’t try to fix what wasn’t broken, and made it better, all at the same time. The only issue i have right now is this: the game is missing inputs during battle. I’m pressing punch and it doesn’t punch for just one sec, or i press the left arrow to back up and he doesn’t respond. it happens during battle and this is crucial to me being able to play my best. I can’t have muy character not responding to commands while the enemy isn’t missing a beat. Also, my character moves sluggish and slow at certain moments for some reason. I wouldn’t point it out except I noticed the enemies don’t move like that, so I thought it might be a bug. Until those two issues get fixed I can’t continue playing. I love Shadow Fight to the death of me and I want the game to be in tip top shape when I play… because I know I’m gonna DOMINATE! I play barehanded or with nunchucks. Shoutout to Nekki!

Such a game is so awesome to the point i probably prefer it over Shadow Fight 2, which is saying alot. Unlike sf3 and 4, this game goes back to its original like gameplay instead of being another knockoff mortal combat. Not only that, it makes the gameplay and mechanics into something new so half of you can learn the game again.. like for example, the new gears mechanic is more like looting instead of unlocking a weapon and buying it, then being with that weapon for the rest of your level, which i find astonishing. The game also lets you merge things to make them better, which is a common mechanic that ups your build if you have too many low level stuff in your inventory. As for the graphics, in survival, you don’t stay in one place and fight. The backround will always change, and it always seems to look awesome. Speaking of, it mixes ninjas from all the other Acts in sf2 and puts them all in one, which they all have different classes, something you don’t find in sf2. Great game, 5 stars

I loved shadow fight 2 it is one of my favorite if not my favorite mobile game I’ve ever played, the combat was quick and very fun, I had beaten the game multiple times on multiple accounts. I was very disappointed with where the series went after 2. So when I saw shades was coming out I got very excited to try it. While I enjoy the shadow fight 2 style being brought back I already have several issues with the game. This game is plagued by rampant micro transactions, it seems like every time I go to the menu I get a new pop up asking me to buy something. They even charge for storybooks. Also the game is constantly missing inputs both with attacks and movements. Somehow the inputs issue seems even worse than 2 despite this being made years after with better technology. Also while the shades concept is very cool and it being a rogue like is interesting it doesn’t seem to be balanced towards a rogue like instead just being shadow fight 2 combat with a rogue like sticker slapped on it. I rarely find shadows that offer healing, and the shrines in the mode don’t offer much healing when you find them. This wouldn’t be a huge problem if a base enemy (5/10) on my current stage didn’t do almost half my health with a single attack despite having all my gear green or blue tier and fully maxed out. The combination of taking a lot of damage from few attacks, lack of healing on runs, and missing inputs adds a lot more difficulty to the game. Overall I think this game has potential, it just needs to be steered in the right direction to reach it. Will update as the game changes and I play more.
