Mammotion APP is an application for use with lawn mowers. This app helps you to mow your lawn intelligently, quickly and efficiently. Take away the hassle of maintaining your lawn manually.
Why should I use Mammotion?
- Support for planning task areas, no-go zones, connection channels to meet individual lawn needs.
- Supports sending mowing jobs, and the mower can plan the path to mow on its own.
- Supports adding a work schedule to mow the lawn periodically.
- Support intelligent planning of recharge path and automatic recharge.
- Support multiple languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Slovak, Czech, Polish, etc.
- Support remote upgrade of mowers and other functions.
I will say last year I was quite pleased with the improvements. Unfortunately they have digressed instead of further improved. Bluetooth is almost unusable now to drive the mower. The app forgets things and shows incorrect settings. Like when you change the mow height it is not what the task is set at. Also real improvements are not being done for Luba 1. They keep changing the interface and not in ways I feel are positive. Useful features are moved and icons are less intuitive. Setting up tasks is really slow to update maps. Continually adds all areas instead of the one(s) selected. Seems all my task settings are random. A once proud owner, I am now becoming very frustrated…
Amazing with Luba Mini

This is fantastic. It was very easy to set up, draw outlines of areas, draw channels between them, and get started with mowing. These days it’s hard to trust product reviews anywhere. I spent a while consuming a lot of them before eventually choosing the Luba Mini. My yard has some rocky terrain and a few hills, so I knew I’d benefit from 4WD. I wanted absolute control of yard borders without relying only on vision, but I also wanted vision for the benefits it provides, and the future benefits software updates will bring. Luba Mini was the right choice for all of that. I don’t understand the low reviews here. The app could use a bit of polish, but as a software engineer I can tell you it’s actually in a really good, reliable state for function and usability. All of the stuff that matters is there and is working really well. The rest is polish. Also want to take a moment to recognize: companies like Mammotion are at the forefront of innovation. Keep up the good work.

Map editing is abysmal
---Jeffen---
In general the app and robot do what they are told. However: to edit a map, you have to drive the robot to the location. Why is it not possible to edit the waypoints in the map manually without the robot driving there, once a map is created. I can do it with the lawn art - so why can I not edit other “no go areas”? Or do things like separate a zone into two zones / combine two zones to one / edit single waypoints around the perimeter (e.g. in spots where the robot often drops off the lawn edge onto the sidewalk to “outside the working area”) or areas where the robot is fine without the sweeper module, but gets stuck once the basket is mounted due to the increased turning radius? This would help to reduce the amount of times where the robot gets stuck and requires me to walk out there and help it back.Especially since I always have to stop the task first to edit a map..
Wanted to love it but sheesh

The hardware is incredibly impressive, the mower tackles touch terrain, works around obstacles and makes a nice cut *when blades are sharp*. The problem is absolutely everything else. Let’s start with the actual lawn mowing. If it works around a tree there is generally a missing stripe section where it had to navigate around kind of like a shadow, which then makes you need to go run that whole section of the yard again to get that one strip. If it gets stuck it only sometimes notifies you, and then when you help it, it’ll just jump ahead like 20% of the job so a huge chunk of yard is just skipped. Then there’s the app.The most annoying part is you lose connection constantly and anything you were doing to setup a task is just deleted. The directions of the lines are based on what seems like a random orientation of the map (just let me set what way ‘up’ is and make lines from there). And in the latest update it just completely ignores customization of line angles and just does the default even when changed. Why is there even a page for the connection tower thing? Just show me the robot and the tasks and stop with all the extra pages and nonsense. And really everything else has miscellaneous bugs. It’s the greatest party trick ever and I love it but sometimes it would be nice to just have a nicely mowed yard without spending 20 min every day fiddling with the thing.Advice for the developers - STOP ADDING FEATURES AND JUST MAKE THE LAWN MOWER WORK RIGHT. I really don’t care if the app UI/UX is embarrassingly bad, which it is, I just care that it does what I paid $3,000 for it to do without constant intervention.
