I’ve used reading eggs to teach all 5 of my children to read. As a homeschool mom and educator, it’s the best program I’ve found. It’s the only app that my children willingly come back to on their own. The lessons are relevant to real life so it keeps them engaged. So many options for learning even when they’re not in a structured lesson path. I’d recommend it to anyone not just homeschoolers.

Skills don’t align
Whocares5!
Kids learn how to recognize the numbers 1-10 WAY before they can read the number words ie “eight”. The fact that this game expects 5 year olds to speed read words beyond their reading level, just to show they recognize single digit numbers is just stupid.

Audio Problems on iPad

Sound stops functioning frequently and repeatedly. App needs to be force closed and restarted every time. Will update to 4-5 stars once developers fix this known issue. Until then the app is useless because audio is required for many of the activities.
