The only reason I wanted to use MoonPay is that it is integrated with Exodus, which I use. The first time I tried to sell crypto it just spun forever waiting to verify. I just tried again months later, and it actually let me go through the steps to verify my identity using driver license. After that process finally completed, MoonPay said that my account has been deactivated for breaking their terms of service. I contacted support and they said I broke the terms and for security reasons they can’t give me any details on what I did wrong. Literally all I have done using MoonPay in my entire life is attempt to sign up the first time and it loaded forever, and attempt to sign up again when I actually completed the process of verification. Apparently attempting to become a customer is against their rules and no one is allowed to use their service. They would prefer I use a different exchange. Makes no sense whatsoever!

When you type in “Remove payment method in moonpay” in google, the first result that pops up in the search results is a “sponsored site” done to look very formal and professionally done made to look like moonpay’s website …except if you click on that site, that website address is not moonpay dot com. I went as far as calling the number on that site and the person on the other end had an Indian accent. Thinking nothing of this, I proceeded to the point where I was instructed to launch my AppStore and search for an app called “ConnectWise Control”. Right then and there I hung up the phone realizing what he was trying to do - to gain access to my screen and grab the screen with my seed phrase to my wallet. At the end of the day, MoonPay has easy on-ramp, but I couldn’t transfer out by crypto from this MoonPay app and had to use an external app to import my seed phrase to recover my crypto. Guys. Beware and stay educated.
