UPDATE: Developer was quick to reply and fix the problem. The last restaurant I played was so enjoyable because they addressed the issue at hand. Much appreciated. I play quite a few cooking games and this game is adequately enjoyable. The graphics are outstanding and there are many elements to keep you busy. HOWEVER, there is one aspect of the game that thoroughly irritates me - the timed levels. I don’t enjoy having to play a level multiple times because it’s close to impossible. All my equipment is fully upgraded and I complete the order in milliseconds. You can’t serve it any faster. I’ll have 10 seconds left with all my food prepared and the characters take forever to get to their spot (they’ll travel all the way to end instead of the closest spot, using up all the time). Some even have dialogue, which takes an additional second. There is only one power up that is helpful, which adds 6 seconds but it’s not a guarantee that character will have a full order to complete the level, so I get even more frustrated when I have to use a purchased power up with no success. Every timed level is the same story and I’m about to uninstall for this alone, which is sad because everything else is phenomenal.

It has wonderful graphics, cute dress up options, and a room design element. The main gaming happens in the cooking levels. It can be a bit hectic at times but they have great booster options, one of them coming in the form of adorable animal companions. The game also has a pretty interesting story and I tend to never follow the plots of games like this. I love this game and look forward to continuing to play it!

The first time I reviewed this game I was so in love. I still like it and play it often, it just isn’t what it used to be. It seems as though the developers are getting greedy. In my original review, I had mentioned how amazing it was that you basically had three great games packed into one: time management cooking game, fashion games and home design. Those are all still true. However, I had also noted how much I loved that there were so few adds and how many free items you got within the fashion world. Fast forward a few months, you now have an ad after every single level which is especially aggravating when you have a 15 minute free play but let’s face it, it’s annoying all the time. I was ok having an ad every few levels but this seriously makes me play this game so much less. Also, they seem to have stopped adding new clothes for the fashion portion, and after you get to Dream City there isn’t a person that calls you to model anymore giving you free outfits. These updates really just are ruining the game for me.

You’ll not make it without spending money

If you want to go far in the game, you’ll have to pay money to buy boosters. You can replay the same level many times and it gets a bit easier, but there are some levels that no matter how many times you play, it will not get better. The game does glitch a lot and I have loose lives because of it, I have spent money in boosters then I use them and the game shuts down and resets and your level and boosters were used for nothing, gone. There is a level where the coins you gather get in the way of the orders you place and it’s difficult to get it out of the way. There’s is a patron that no matter how many chocolate boosters you use, his patience does not change, the game should not take our boosters if it doesn’t work with that particular customer. Don’t get me wrong, the game is not bad but the glitches are frustrating . The story is ok, they give you some choices but not important ones, so I don’t see the point of having options at all. Also I just reached the end and for what I’m reading, the developing of this game is slow so I guess I’ll delete it.
