UPDATE: Developer was quick to reply and fix the problem. The last restaurant I played was so enjoyable because they addressed the issue at hand. Much appreciated. I play quite a few cooking games and this game is adequately enjoyable. The graphics are outstanding and there are many elements to keep you busy. HOWEVER, there is one aspect of the game that thoroughly irritates me - the timed levels. I don’t enjoy having to play a level multiple times because it’s close to impossible. All my equipment is fully upgraded and I complete the order in milliseconds. You can’t serve it any faster. I’ll have 10 seconds left with all my food prepared and the characters take forever to get to their spot (they’ll travel all the way to end instead of the closest spot, using up all the time). Some even have dialogue, which takes an additional second. There is only one power up that is helpful, which adds 6 seconds but it’s not a guarantee that character will have a full order to complete the level, so I get even more frustrated when I have to use a purchased power up with no success. Every timed level is the same story and I’m about to uninstall for this alone, which is sad because everything else is phenomenal.

Combo requirements with little to no booster help???

I absolutely LOVE this game. Im a chronic story-skipper but this story is so fun and told in short snippets that keep you engaged yet don't bore you by taking forever to get thru! I find myself always playing to the next snippet to see what happens. I love collecting the pictures and momentos in the album too. The restaurants are good and gameplay is fun and easy, my only gripe is the COMBO goals. The max combos are INCREDIBLY hard to get without the single booster combo freeze. I have to use it with almost every max combo goal and I have to keep buying them with gems because I don't earn them fast enough. I wish there were other boosters that helped with max combo and combo coins (finally got the pig so combo coin goals are MUCH easier but actually impossible without the pig or combo freeze). I did read in a review that you can contact them for overly difficult levels, but I wish they would play test them more because the customers come in so slowly and the combo goes away so quickly that its hard to catch a rhythm when waiting on customers to enter bc ur too fast at serving. you almost have to slow down and let their heart get low so you can get a rhythm of them entering but it doesnt always work.I do really recommend this game, especially if you love cooking diary! it plays very similar but is its own too. the extra things to do are a nice break as well like the fashion shows(absolutely LOVE THIS!!!) arcade levels and home decorating. everything I love mixed in one- cooking, dress up, and decorating!!! so incredible.

I’ve played A LOT of different cooking games and this is by far the best! There are so many features I love - like having a trash booster which most other cooking games don’t. I also feel like the levels are pretty challenging but I don’t always feel I need to use a bunch of boosters to complete them like other games which I appreciate VERY much…pretty much all of the other cooking games I’ve played seem absolutely not even humanly possible to complete challenges no matter how many boosters you use so I eventually stop playing them and spending any money on them.The rewards in this game are fantastic and I think it’s wonderful that this game doesn’t try and manipulate you into spending more money…like if you don’t pass a level you don’t face the threat of losing any progress towards any events or side competitions going on…which is something I find EXTREMELY annoying and off-putting in other games. And there are so many wonderful and diverse events here, you’re never bored.In addition to everything else - I really enjoy all the different storylines and the fact that this isn’t just a cooking game, but you also get pets, get to decorate and get to explore your fashion sense through the story lines. I am a HUGE fan of the cooking/serving challenges of these types of games but it can get a bit monotonous just cooking all the time…it’s nice to have the decorating and styling to mix it up a bit. My only complaint would be that there’s not more fashion challenges.I could go on but in short - I am a fan and I’ll never play another cooking game again.

The first time I reviewed this game I was so in love. I still like it and play it often, it just isn’t what it used to be. It seems as though the developers are getting greedy. In my original review, I had mentioned how amazing it was that you basically had three great games packed into one: time management cooking game, fashion games and home design. Those are all still true. However, I had also noted how much I loved that there were so few adds and how many free items you got within the fashion world. Fast forward a few months, you now have an ad after every single level which is especially aggravating when you have a 15 minute free play but let’s face it, it’s annoying all the time. I was ok having an ad every few levels but this seriously makes me play this game so much less. Also, they seem to have stopped adding new clothes for the fashion portion, and after you get to Dream City there isn’t a person that calls you to model anymore giving you free outfits. These updates really just are ruining the game for me.
