Fixes a bug in the macOS version that could override text when system-wide text autocorrect was enabled.

Subscribers can now see when their subscription expires in the app's Settings.

- You can now speak any message. Long-press on any message you'd like to have read to you and choose the Speak option to listen to Shorty's response. - Conversations with no messages but modified Chat Settings will no longer auto-delete when exiting the Chat.

- Fixes a bug where you couldn't add more than 1 new conversation per app session. This was my dumb mistake, my bad.

Every Side Chat now has the option to configure a personality for your responses. When you add a personality all of Shorty's responses will be delivered in the form of that personality. This helps make each Side Chat become it's own helpful space. You can choose from some pre-selected personalities such as a D&D Master, a Swift Developer, a French Tour Guide, a Math Tutor, and many more options. Research has shown that when you create a personality it helps deliver drastically better results, so we wanted to make that as easy as possible. You can even make up your own personalities to use in the app, and of course we'd love to hear about any personalities you come up with. Along with a personality we're letting you change other conversation parameters. You can easily tweak how creative you want responses to be, perfect for prose and writing, and of course the #1 feature request users have been asking for, support or OpenAI's GPT-4 model for more powerful responses. If you thought that was it, we also made two highly requested tweaks. - You can finally rename a conversation! - Your app will now pick back up where you left off rather than the Primary Chat. We also fixed some bugs… of course. John Patrick Morgan and Robb Böhnke, they are both the epitome of a fantastic open source maintainers. They both went above and beyond to help us when we ran into issues using their open source libraries (which of course was our fault, not theirs), even going into our codebase and fixing the issues themselves. This release is all about speed! Shorty is about to respond a whole lot faster, the app is a whole lot smoother, and everything will feel realtime. Before we dive into this version let's step into the future. The most requested feature so far has been support for more powerful models provided by the OpenAI API such as GPT-4, and I'm happy to say that all of the improvements we've made in Short Circuit 2.0 will let us provide that in the next version! Be prepared for big improvements for how you chat with Shorty. Now to the future's past, the present. - Shorty now answers your questions faster than ever, truly in realtime. We did a lot of work to rearchitect Short Circuit for realtime responses, and it makes the app fly. But if this isn't for you, you can always turn this Live Responses in Settings. - Short Circuit now supports more complex questions as well. Before when you asked a particularly complicated question you might find yourself sitting and waiting 30 seconds for Shorty to respond. >:( But I'm glad to say that's a thing of the past, Shorty can now handle much more complicated queries, questions, and queries, quandaries. >:) - Accessibility. Thank you so much to one of our users who wrote in to tell us that we had room to improve our accessibility support. That's on me, I should have done a better job before launching and I'll make sure not to do that again. I went into Short Circuit's codebase and did everything I can to make accessibility a first-class citizen, and if there's anything I can still do to improve it please let me know. (Adin, this is for you, thank you.) - Would you believe me if I said we also fixed a lot of bugs and made improvements? Well not only are Shorty's responses faster, I gave the whole app a run through to make sure that Short Circuit feels fast not only on new devices, but on older devices too.

Same feature as 1.2 — you still get a separate conversation for Siri & Shortcuts, just with teeny fix to display the right text in the Side Chat menu.

Siri & Shortcuts now have their own dedicated Side Chat! If you say something to Siri or receive a response in a Shortcut it will now be recorded in the app for posterity. And yes, all of your past conversations are there too.

Changed our *algorithm* to ask for reviews less frequently, but if you do want to leave a review we (Shorty and I) sure wouldn't mind.

It worked on the iPad but not the Mac, press enter to send your messages to Shorty. (Before you had to press command + enter)
