Alarm notification app for Falun Dafa practitioners to FZN (send forth righteous thought) daily at pre-determined time.
This app will play the 15min "Gong" music at 5:55am, 11:55am, 5:55pm, 11:55pm (Beijing time, GMT +8) regardless of which timezone your IOS device is set to. The "Gong" music is a 15 minutes audio, starting with a "Gong" sound, which repeats every 5 minutes for a total of 4 times. Between each "Gong" sound, there will be silence. For user in different time zone, the FZN Gong notification will remains in Beijing time, hence a convenience for Dafa practitioners that travels a lot.
NOTES:
* When using the app for the first time, please click “Allow Notifications” or the alarm would be deactivated. If one misses the step to allow notifications, one can still enable it by going to “Settings> FZN-Gong> Notifications> Allow Notifications.”
* The app can be closed (and remained closed) after opening it for the first time.
* version 1.0.1 adds support for IOS 16; if there is still issue on IOS 16, delete the app and re-install again.
* version 2.0.0 adds support for IOS 17,18.
It would be useful to have a way to adjust the volume for the four set times. Without that option, the app is unusable in situations when we need it to be more quiet.
Good but had issues

The app is pretty good, but it has an issue in that it often doesn’t play the gong sound at the end of the 15 mins. This happens most of the time, would be great if the developers could fix that. This app doesn’t have as many features as the older unofficial FZN app, but I guess it is better to have an official app so you know you are not downloading anything that could contain virus or spyware. Good job guys, but it could do with that bug fix.
Perfect but just one thing

The custom SFRT can’t be cancelled. Whether I turn off or delete the alarm, it still notifies me. I redownload the app to see whether this problem can be solved.
Would you add exercises music too?

It’s really hard to transfer exercise music files to Apple Music app. We all need this feature.
