Stability and performance • Fixed a problem where large video libraries could stop syncing all of their videos. If you have thousands of videos, some of them may not have been reaching your other devices. • Improved reliability when an upload is interrupted. Uploads now pick up exactly where the server left off instead of starting over. • The compare screen no longer stutters when you resize the panes.

• Player controls on the analysis screen are now much easier to tap. • Closing the app during setup no longer restarts the intro. You pick up where you left off. • Fixed several issues on the plans screen, including prices that could display incorrectly and Restore Purchases becoming unavailable.

NEW FEATURES Drawings that sync everywhere — Annotations now use a shared format, so a drawing you make on your phone shows up in the web app and vice versa, on the same video. Drawings made in older versions are still there and keep working. Pose skeleton in voice-overs — Turn the skeleton on and record a voice-over, and the saved recording now shows it. Previously the skeleton was on screen but never made it into the video. STABILITY & PERFORMANCE • Saving a voice-over is now almost instant — a recording that took about four and a half seconds to save now finishes in under a fifth of a second • Voice-over recordings now capture a smooth 30 frames per second, with side-by-side comparison recordings improving the most • Voice-over recordings look better at the same file size, and step frame by frame more precisely when you scrub a saved one • Fixed slowdowns and occasional crashes during long playback sessions BATTERY LIFE • Playing and scrubbing video uses noticeably less power — the timeline was doing far more work than it needed to on every frame OTHER FIXES • Fixed side-by-side comparison recordings saving with the two videos swapped, which put narration and annotations on the wrong one — portrait recordings have been affected since 2.1.7 • Videos that stall partway through uploading now resume where they left off instead of starting over, and the app waits properly when storage is busy instead of retrying straight away • Fixed drawings jumping to the corner after rotating your device, drawing, and reopening the video • Fixed drawings being erased when the connection dropped as a video opened • Clearing all drawings on one device now clears them on your others • Recording a voice-over without microphone access now tells you, instead of saving a recording with no sound • Fixed the timeline showing the wrong position after swapping sides in the compare tool • Fixed arrowheads drawing at the wrong size

Introducing Messaging and Teams — VisualEyes now works for your whole squad. Messaging - Message your athletes directly, right from their row in the Athletes tab. - Share videos straight into a conversation, with the video title shown on the message. - Unread badges on Home and Collections so you don't miss feedback. - Tap a message notification to jump straight into that conversation. Teams - Create a team and bring athletes in with a join code — or invite a connected athlete right from a chat. - Admin, Manager, and Member roles, with join requests you can approve or decline from your notifications. - Team chat that every member can post in. - Share a video with an entire team in one step. - The Athletes tab now groups by team, with collapsible sections and team pills. Video Analysis - New pose-detection overlay to see body position and mechanics as you review. - Change playback speed on the fly, without stopping the video. - Smoother wheel scrubbing that keeps up on long, high-resolution clips. - Fixed the Change and Flip buttons in compare mode, and kept play/pause centered on shared videos. Safety - Block users, and report messages or accounts. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Reliability - Uploads now recover instead of getting stuck when a session expires or the network drops. - Deleting an athlete now syncs across all your devices. - More reliable push notifications. - The hardware volume buttons now start and stop recording dependably. Plans - Each plan now shows roughly how many videos its storage holds, so it's easier to pick the right one.

This update is all about speed and reliability. Stability & Performance - Fixed freezes when swiping between videos during analysis. - Sharing a video no longer stalls the app while the share sheet opens. - Fixed a freeze when starting a voiceover recording — most noticeable on Macs. - Faster app launch, a quicker compare-video picker, and smoother scrolling in large video libraries. Other Fixes - Fixed recordings that could end up with no sound after moving between recording and analysis. If the microphone can't be secured, you'll now see an alert instead of a silent video. - Returning to the camera from analysis is now instant instead of briefly reloading. - Recordings interrupted mid-take (for example, by a phone call) are now saved instead of discarded.

Faster recording and importing — the home screen now gets you from opening the app to capturing or adding a video in fewer taps. Tag athletes and add tags right from the Video Analysis screen with new one-tap pills, so you can label clips without leaving the player. Bolder annotations — drawing tools now default to a thicker, more visible stroke that reads clearly on the field and in shared video. Fixed a freeze that could occur when opening the camera right after launching the app.

Stability & Performance • Fixed an issue where some recordings could be saved without sound after a phone call, Siri, or switching apps. • Fixed side-by-side comparison recordings — the two videos and your annotations are now saved on the correct sides, and the "Flip Video" option is captured in the recording. Other Fixes • Improved sign-up: invalid details no longer fail silently, and your email and password are checked as you go so any problem is clear before you continue.

Stability & Performance - Fixed an issue where videos could get stuck uploading and prevent new recordings until you restarted the app. - The camera now survives phone calls, lock-screen interruptions, and audio routing changes — no more silent recordings if another app grabs the mic. - Locking and unlocking your device while the camera is open no longer makes the preview vanish or flash. - Fixed a rare hang and stopped half-uploaded videos from appearing on your other devices before they're ready. - Resolved a video stabilization issue and a crash some users saw during data migration. Battery Life - Cut background battery drain by pausing the notifications connection when the app isn't in use. - Additional performance improvements based on crash and performance reports. Thumbnails - Automatically repairs broken thumbnails from earlier uploads and prevents them from happening again. iPad - Modals (camera, bulk tagging, plan management) no longer briefly disappear and re-open when you unlock your iPad.
