Had to wait a month because it was on back order. Just received it. Loaded up the app. The app needed up dating… and now not supported. Stay away from this!!!

Hey there,Thanks for sharing your experience. Sounds like you may have bought our older (white) FirstGen OBDeleven devices which were low and out of stock towards the end of 2023. Please note that these older units only support Android and do not support iOS systems - we try our best to label it thusly on our web-store as well as appoint respective notices on the OBDeleven mobile app too. The latter of which informs users that it only supports newer (black) NextGen devices. Hope that helps you better understand the compatibility of our apps and devices.
A major bug

I bought OBDeleven about 2 years ago and have been using it on all of my VW’s with no problem. Have used the live data function numerous times, the quick apps were awesome, HOWEVER. I recently made the switch to an F10 BMW and every time I open the app to scan the car or do whatever, the car cycles itself. So it shuts off the car completely then cycles back to accessory mode. This should not happen, it isn’t normal. Also, the lack of a live data panel is a huge downside. I need to see when the car last did its regeneration, how clogged the dpf is, and various other parameters. PLEASE FIX/ADD THESE FEATURES!!!

I’m not impressed all in all with this product. You have to connect to the web to use it, so they can constantly beat you to death with ads and features, since there are very few to begin with. They sell macros to program things like make you lights come on with a key FOB etc. etc. Many of them don’t work or go back to their original settings over time.
Exorbitantly Expensive Credits

I bought the device a couple years ago when long coding was a free feature. Now there’s a paywall for that and credits for very simple functions are ridiculous. $12 to change my battery type and another $12 to change its capacity? Shame on you for this bait and switch.

Credits apply to specific One-Click Apps that automate certain procedures, such as battery adaptation, but manual coding remains possible where supported by the vehicle.Over the years, pricing and access models evolved due to increased vehicle security systems and ongoing development requirements. There was no intention to remove previously available functionality, but to adapt to changing platform and security demands.We understand that pricing changes may not suit every user, and we appreciate your feedback.
