Bitir is designed for leaders of small groups who need more structure than a messaging app, without the complexity of enterprise platforms. It fits solo coaches, classroom teachers, private tutors, supplementary schools, Quran centres, Sunday schools, music and language schools, sports clubs, and small team leads equally well.

Someone whose role does not include Moderate posts, such as a payments-only role, can now write in the group chat like any other member. Private messages, making a message public and deleting stay with that right.

Your Bitir Assistant conversation now follows you: phone, tablet and web show the same chat. A card you applied on one device does not offer Apply again on another, and deleting the chat clears it everywhere.
The + in the assistant chat now offers Camera, Photos and Document. Send a photo or screenshot of a list and the assistant reads it. It also reads PowerPoint and Markdown files, and turns down documents longer than 10 pages before reading them.
Chats: on your phone, long-press a message to open its menu (Copy included). Tapping a quote always jumps to the original message. The message menu stays on screen, next to its bubble.
Also: on web and desktop, Enter sends in the assistant chat and Shift+Enter starts a new line.

Pin up to three chats at the top of the Channels list: long-press a chat (right-click on desktop and web) and pin it. Pinned chats stay on top on your other devices too.
A manager can move a member to another group in one step from Group settings. Anyone who can moderate posts can now delete any message.
Invites: a number not yet on Bitir is now invited per person, so a parent's number can be invited once for each child. At first sign-in Bitir asks "Who is signing in?" and each person gets their own profile.
Also: the profile picker explains whose number it is and fits the wide sign-in layout on web and desktop. The web app shows a Reload bar when a new version is out.

Bitir Assistant now sees your groups and their members, the same way you do in the app. Ask it to change someone's role, add people from your other groups or remove a member, then apply the cards one by one or tap Apply all. Attach a CSV, Excel, Word or PDF list and it reads it. Messages can now be much longer. Assistant messages can be selected and copied, and the conversation stays when you leave the screen or restart the app.
Private messages: a manager can send one private message to one or several members at once, also from the member list in Group settings.
Invites: the picker shows every number saved for a contact. If a number already has Bitir profiles, you pick the right person (people you do not know show as initials) or invite someone else under a name you type. The picker says who is already in the group, explains when a name search finds nothing, and no longer asks for contacts access on the web.
Also: the Change role sheet explains that roles belong to each group and links to the roles screen, Group settings open in the side panel on desktop, and messages for everyone are labelled "To everyone".

Payments: a new widget for dues and collections. Save a payment as a template, send it to the people you choose, and see who has paid. Recurring dues run themselves once someone has sent the first one, and a send can be taken back if it went out wrong. Receipt numbers are optional and can be switched off.
Video in chat: a video you pick now appears in the conversation straight away and shows its progress while it is prepared, so you can see it is on its way. Preparing a video can no longer hang.
Clearer failures: if the camera or the file picker cannot open, the app tells you in your own language instead of doing nothing.
Payment settings: the payment settings screen and the payments summary on the Me tab load again, and the setting that allows one-off member payment claims is honoured.
Also: a two-step invite picker, published identity showing exactly what other members can see, and a widget store split into what is on and what you can still add.

Published identity: the group asks what you want shown, then shows you the answer, so what other members can see is never a guess.
Widget store: a group's widgets are split into what is already on and what you can still add.
Chat: one Media tile in the composer now covers photos and videos together, and the Camera tile can record video, not just take a photo.
Fixes: a swipe no longer throws away the group you were creating, a new message reaches the channel list the moment it lands, and text pasted into the web composer stays put.

Groups now choose their own words: a class says students and teachers, a club says athletes and coaches. Tasks, sessions and the group itself are named the same way, and you can pick your own words in Settings > Terminology.
Message search: search past messages from the channel list and inside every chat.
Library: keep messages, and browse a group's photos, files and links in one place. Link previews now look the way they do in WhatsApp, and can be removed before sending.
Tracking: daily and weekly check-in requests go out on their own.
Attendance: set up recurring weekly schedules, and move a session to a past date.
Polls: publish results to everyone, set a closing time, and schedule repeats.
Member list: manager and teacher roles stay off the member list and widget rosters unless the group opts them in.
Certificates: a reference number can be verified at bitir.co.uk once the group publishes it.
Day dividers in chat and a floating date badge while you scroll. Login codes stay valid for 15 minutes. Bitir Assistant can copy plans between groups, create roles, and invite by phone with a role.
