It’s super relaxing. I wish there were filters to sort through the different buildings so I didn’t have to scroll the entire list of houses to find the ones available on specific terrains. You can do this in the mini games, but not on the main game. Yes, it takes a bit to level up and if you spend a few bucks here and there it goes faster. But, you don’t HAVE to spend any money to play AT ALL! the graphics are great and it’s fun to build your islands up. The one thing I wish we had (and didn’t have to pay (the game money, not real money) was the ability to store all of the buildings and decorations in order to rearrange the islands ( like on Township, I’m constantly rearranging the town because I’m leveling up and need to add new houses, factories, or decorations). I think I have 5 spots open on the storage space but I’ve had to spend a couple million game dollars to buy them. Overall, I really love the game. It isn’t stressful at all. I have played all the different series and Numbers 5. & 6 are the best. The mini games are super fun, too. I wish they lasted longer. I only have a couple of hours to play each day and I can never finish the mini games.

I’ve always hated when games ask you to give a rating like 30 seconds after you started playing but this one didn’t ask until 3 days later after I had enough time to really explore. I definitely appreciate that. Someone else commented that the gameplay is similar to sim city and it definitely has that feel to it. I also like the fact that if you zoom in on the buildings you can actually see the construction taking place, neat the detail. 5 stars. Definitely worth the download.

I started playing this game 3 days ago! Yeah, I know it’s not a lot of days but I literally loved it so much I’m already level 15. However, the money system doesn’t make sense. I have to be logged into the game to earn money. I wish the money would collect itself so when I log in again I have enough to buy more houses/jobs. It doesn’t make sense that I have to be in the game 24/7 for the money to come in. Plus, everything is way too expensive for no reason. I can’t even buy normal houses anymore without coins, and there’s no way to get coins without using real money. I don’t usually spend real money on phone games so I don’t like that at this point that’s my only option. I really liked the game at the beginning because I thought it went faster than other city games, but then it’s getting to a point where I can’t do anything anymore because of low money/coins. Please implement something where we can earn more money/coins; it can be some games into the game or a rank system where if you’re on the top of the list in a week you earn prizes; there’s so many possibilities. Even with the wheel, it’s pure luck, and you can only earn 1 coin from it; what am I supposed to do with 1 coin?

I had so much hope for this new version of City Island and it just falls short for me. Let me first say that I love the graphics 100% however I find that the game is set up only for the makers of it to cash in. In order to get ahead in this game you MUST spend real money otherwise you can’t build up. There’s no way to gain the coins in this game, sure you might get a coin here and there but it’s never going to be enough to buy the buildings/homes that you need to advance. Everything is super expensive to own, even the keys come in low quantities and the asking amount of keys needed to buy a building is extreme. To buy land is ridiculously expensive as well, I really was hoping that these things were going to be better in this version because all the versions are the same in this Factor. Also your sales aren’t really sales, your original prices are so high that when you have a “sale” on coins and dollars us the people are still being asked to spend a great amount of real money that it doesn’t benefit US STILL…. With that being said, it takes the fun out of the game for ME and not sure how long I’ll be entertaining this game. Thank you!
