Edit: I needed to add more. This app has continued to be one of the most important and priceless investments I have made towards my own journey as a self-defender. It has immense rewatchable value and it has proven to be, hands down, my favorite app in my smartphone. Original review: Every time I watch one of the full classes on the ASP App, I am reminded that the classes alone make the app worthwhile. In fact, the classes are far and away, my favorite benefit of the app. They are extremely rewatchable, and invaluable in terms of the wealth of knowledge, and information they deliver. I’m currently in the middle of Melody Lauer’s Armed Parent class (a class that took place less than an hour away from me and one that I was seriously bummed I couldn’t take in person!) and I’ve watched both Tim Herron’s and Riley T. Bowman’s classes on the app, twice so far. And John P Correia’s full class on deescalation is in my opinion, a must-watch for any armed #GSSMP. I’m hoping that one day the team films and releases a full Stop the Bleed class. I think that would be a great addition to their already stellar class lineup. Anyway, I can’t recommend the app highly enough, specifically because of the class content!

Hey all. The new app is great for staying in tune with daily training videos. Thanks for dedicating your time to making lessons and discussions on self defense available to all of us. The video quality is awesome and the unlimited access makes lessons easier to follow and visualize without blurred content or limits on what can be shown so we can learn exactly how scenarios can unfold. I’m sure that all the previous years videos will be available on the app soon. Also, I enjoy the recorded classroom instructor videos, so I’m excited to see more of those lessons included in the app. I’m happy to support your organization so that you can continue to share your skills and give your fans the ultimate access to your vast library. Tons of value inside the app. In my opinion, the recorded classes alone are worth the price of admission. The “First Take” videos are absolute gold. The extended discussions - called “React Ripples” - have significantly deepened my understanding of self-defense (what it really looks like, what it SHOULD look like, what it SHOULDN’T look like, etc).The classes and the discussions have definitely caused me to revise how I think about having a “balanced portfolio” within my EDC:Active awarenessVerbal de-escalation skillsEmpty-handed skillsLess lethal optionsLethal optionsMedical skills & equipmentI think there’s also something to be said that humans value what they spend their time, money and energy on. Spending the money on the app signals to my brain that this topic matters. Having the app on my Home Screen (which I keep very minimal and only allow top priority apps on) makes it easy to access the daily lessons, which also signals that this is a priority. Spending time and energy on daily dry fire practice - which has been enhanced by the recorded classes on the topic - is yet another signal to my brain that I take this seriously. Overall, one of my absolute favorite apps that’s truly changed my behaviors and beliefs.

This channel gives valuable information. The skills gained here can save your life, others around you, and most importantly your families. Equally important, John and his associates further demonstrate and instruct on safety and proper use of firearm and self protection situations. Heaven forbid you ever have to use those types of protective skills after I have watched many videos and listen to classes training can protect you in the legal aspects, which is very important to keep you out of prison during a self protection situation. Overall, this channel will teach you how to be a sane, sober, and moral prudent person. No one ever knows when one of these horrible situations could be in their face without further like say thanks to John.
