It did a good job with the basics, but for ten dollars there should be a lot more than 275 words/phrases.
Misleading update, otherwise was great

This app is very helpful as there are not many interactive language learning tools for Icelandic. However it is pricey... Within minutes of paying and downloading the app I was told of a free update and upgrade. I did the upgrade, it created an entirely new app, with only the basics for free and requires me to pay money again!!! The old app now no longer works, so I effectively waisted almost $10. I will continue to use the new app as it is helpful and a great tool, But proceed with caution on the update!

I paid $7.99 and there's nothing there! It linked me to totally different app that has very little included and asks for $20 to give info. This is fraud.

This App is everything it claims. I love the recognition games. They really do help reinforce with both sight and sound. The audio recordings are very good too. Very clear and good pronunciations. I am 1/4 Icelandic and am using this program to brush up on my ancestors native language. Love it!
