I remember playing this game in elementary school. Checked to see if I could still get it, and it turns out I can! The game itself works just fine, and it looks exactly how I remember it. Though I must say, as a rising law school student, the game feels a bit easier than it used to. I’m still gonna play it though!

Well, we've all seen the iPhone apps that we show our friends to impress them, but we don't actually use them much. Then there are the games that are addictive and fun but don't work as a quick "look how cool this is" demo. Well Slingshot Cowboy is both: I got quickly addicted to it and play it for fun far too often. But I can also pop it open for a hilarious demo to show people - the sights and sounds of hitting the cows will just crack you up! 5 stars for sure.

Not very good....

When I first saw this game, it looked fun. When I downloaded it and played it, I was really disappointed. The way how you fling stones with a sligshot at cows to get them angry is a very good idea for a game, but Digital Prunes did not do very good job on it. The graphics are nice and vivid, but they are also low quality. The main thing that really bugged me is when I pull back on the slingshot, the screen shakes and when I let go, the stone goes in the opposite direction. I don't want to pan this game that much because it was in fact free, but Digital Prunes, you really could of done a better job. You should definately keep the idea of it, but if you make a sequal, you should give it 3D graphics, some characters, and a 3rd person veiw. If you do this and charge some money for it, I'll think about purchasing it.GAMECRITICz. recomends: This game is NOT for everybody, mostly if you hate hate crappy graphics and dull gameplay, which I do. But, if you are out of itunes cash and want a free shooter and don't care if its a bad game, I recomend that you at least give it a try. And if you really disliked it, then you can just do what I did, delete it.

At first I couldn't get the aiming down.. But then I realized how to make it work... When you are on the 3 levels... you need to keep your iPod flat.. That will allow you to get most of the cows. I find it easier to then do the stampede levels with my iPhone vertical instead of flat. I was able to easily beat this game, and go for as long as I wanted in the bonus stampede.
