I use this for traffic updates but otherwise it’s unbearable.The notifications are worthless. Sometimes it loads your story. Sometimes not. Lots of sports spam and always a video ad.KIRO wants to load a video ad before each news story regardless of data/WiFi so they don’t care if some people are on capped plans or slow connections. Then, most of the time, the story you’re clicking on the notification for doesn’t load and can’t be found 🤷♀️. There are way too many sports notifications and no way to turn them off 🤦♀️And people with the app probably don’t care about on air stories and don’t want notifications about stories coming up on air. Keep what is in the app local to the app. And let me mention again that there are major issues with the video ads and notifications.

KIRO 7 has been my go-to news source for over a decade. Apparently this is unusual, but I want news to be factually and contextually accurate and without bias. I don’t want my source for news to tell me what to think. While KIRO isn’t as extreme as a few others, it has clearly increased the abundance of politically biased content being passed as news. We don’t need more politically motivated echo chambers. We need factually and contextually accurate information presented fairly, even if it leads to unpopular inconvenient truths. Our ability to get impartial facts is lost, people are making decisions on exaggerated (false?) narratives, and our families and community are falling apart. Don’t be just another part of the problem, KIRO. Please.The app itself has become unreliable using an iPad Pro. Images don’t line up or appear right, links don’t work, and the app itself crashes too often. It is a bit antiquated in terms of presentation and usability, but that would be no big deal if it weren’t for the biased incomplete news and app problems.

I find that KIRO does not fully report the darker side of Seattle’s problems. Is this an intentional act? I am interpreting it as an endorsement of the radical left that has a tight grip on our society. Example: Mt Rainier trails are now closed due to fire danger, one headline read. Yet on KOMO they report it as unhealthy air from the fires.. but no one mentions that our states fire budget has been cut from $115 million to $60 million. And to limit possible exposure to even more fire, people have lost the freedom to hike. And when shootings happen. Why are they not reported? Our area has the 4th highest national crime rates that are a result of soft on crime, soft on drugs, high homelessness etc.. all a result of the open border, socialism and lack of accountability. KIRO has much room for improvement.

Hi KIRO7 - I'm nothing without Michelle, Tracy T. Matthew, Tracey and Nick in the morning! This whole week the KIRO News App on my i-pad, Firestick, AND PrimeTV is not working. It goes through the same 3 commercials then gets stuck. I’ve uninstalled on all of my devices and then reinstalled the app. Still getting stuck on the same commercials. I’ve tweeted to make you aware. I have sent you a DM as well. Still nothing. Help?!?
