Go paperless and open your Millennium account within minutes using Mobile Digital Key without the need for in-person visits.
MB WAY
Use MB WAY within the Millennium app to make mobile payments, send money to friends, and more.

In the bottom navigation bar, you'll find these two quick options to make your everyday payments and transfers.

All our cards now come with a digital twin version that you can use as soon as the card is approved in the app. And remember, the decision is instant.
Block cards
If you've lost your card or won't be using it for a while, you can block it in the app. When you're ready to use it again, just unblock it.

Split your credit card purchases starting from €100 into installments of 3, 6, or 9 months.
Data update with Digital Mobile Key

I’ve had a lot of bank accounts but this app truly is amazingly easy to use and has a wonderful user interface. I can do so much right in my app that I’m just shocked. In English or Portuguese makes it easy to check out whatever it is I need to do. Thanks !

Someone broke into my account

Last night, I received a strange text message from Millennium and opened the app to see that someone had just moved money from my savings account to my checking account. They immediately began making online purchases in Portugal. The person I spoke with on the phone at Millennium said that my app had been accessed remotely and then used to make purchases through the MBWay function within the banking app (I have an iPhone, so there is no virus etc.). Millennium will not refund any of these purchases to me as they were made from within the app. My only option is to file a police report.I am shocked and upset. I had understood that my bank accounts in Portugal were highly secure and it is difficult to understand how this was possible. It was far too easy for someone to get into my Millennium app remotely and take it over. I don’t want this app on my phone again.

Becoming worse over time with archaic set up and bad customer service (updated)

(Update with developer reply: I have already complained multiple times, phone, email, etc, to the bank on this issue and the excuses weren’t even adequate. Once again being asked to contact the bank so they pretend to have customer service is honestly insulting. Just reply to existing complaints instead of pretending online you care to visible complaints)The latest changes have resulted in an archaic subpar app where you cant talk with your bank.Want to pay a credit card (tap)? You cant as it will say it doesn’t exist. Contact the customer service is only possible in app, you can’t use email but they can. Want to pay a card you have to send a transfer to an account they give you even though there is a button for it in app nut that doesn’t work.Deteriorating as time goes by with worse and worse customer service.

Set limits does not work

I tried to set a large 1 day limit for 1 transaction, so I can make the purchase of a car. Went through the phone call to answer the questions, and the limit got set but the app still will not allow me to create the transfer. 3 disconnected phone calls to support, and now I am told they will call me in a hour to confirm the transaction…. Very poor customer service and apparently an app that does not coordinate with Millennium´s rules and promises. Why am I paying a monthly account fee for this poor service.??
