Arabic Alphabet teaches you the foundations of Arabic in a fun and unique way. For each of the 28 letters you can:
• See it in great detail.
• Hear the proper pronunciation of its sound.
• Hear the proper pronunciation of its name.
• See and hear a common Arabic word that begins with that letter.
LEARN, WRITE, AND PRACTICE
• Learn: swipe through beautiful letter cards, or browse the full alphabet grid and tap any letter to jump to it.
• Write: "finger-write" on the screen and trace each letter to memorize and perfect its strokes. Print a practice sheet for any letter to keep practicing on paper.
• Quiz: put everything you've learned to the test. Play Sprint (60 seconds, as many correct answers as you can) or Survival (no timer, but one wrong answer ends the game). Choose letters, pictures, or a mix of both, and review the letters you missed.

Arabic Alphabet is not only fun, but also accurate, because it was developed by a native Arabic speaker, and all audio samples were recorded by a college professor of Arabic. The app is available in English and Arabic, with full right-to-left support.

Reading and writing Arabic is really complicated. I was not expecting this app to help me completely read/write Arabic. However, I was hoping quizzes on the different forms of the letters and a lesson on vowels (Vowels are extremely important in Arabic). I came to the table with a basic understanding of the Arabic vowels so I could slowly eek out reading the 28 words that correspond with the Arabic letter. But even a beginner would not leave this app with the ability to read anything because you are not taught how letters look in the middle of a word and at the end of a word. You are also given no information on vowels so trying to pronounce the words...will be by memory only and not on learned skill. I hope they update this app with something useful, until then, I’ll be disappointed.

I purchased the quiz part of this app and is there supposed to be a noise to be able to take the quiz and the learning part as well? There is a volume button on the quizzes I click on it but there is no noice what so ever. How am I supposed to take the quizzes with no question to answer ? I am very mad. U need to update the app immediately I already purchased the package. What a waste of money

Really helping me learn better than other apps . I like that there are no transliterations of the flash card words. I find transliterations very distracting when learning a new language. I hope they make more apps with more flash cards of Arabic vocabulary. The learning games are very helpful as well.

1. NEW: the Daily Streak widget for your Home Screen and Lock Screen. It shows how many days in a row you have practiced and whether today counts yet. Tap it to practice today's letter. A small flame with big expectations.
2. Your current streak comes along for the ride. No need to start over.
3. The Letter of the Day widgets now take on your Home Screen's tint, and they stay neat even with very large text.
4. FIXED: touch and hold the app icon, pick Learn, Write, Quiz or Rate App, and you land right there. Before, those shortcuts just opened the app and shrugged.
