Update 2: iOS 26.1 seems to have resolved the issue. The developers didn’t do anything even though they said they would. Restored this app review back to 5 stars, though, since it’s working perfectly again. —Update: Downgraded from 3 stars to 2 because the fix has not come through yet, despite the developer’s response below. It should have been easy to fix, and they haven’t updated the app at all in years so I’m skeptical they will actually resolve it. I’ll change the stars back to 5 if they do resolve it, though, because minus the bug I mention below, it’s a great calculator app.—With iOS 26, there is now an issue where if you add (or change) a comment on a line, when you’re done, the number pad does not return. You can see it at the bottom but there’s no way to bring it back without quitting and relaunching the app. I really hope they update, because it seems like the developer hasn’t updated in years. I bought the pro features for this one, and I’d pay again to keep using it.Otherwise, it’s still the best tape calculator. Been using it for a long time.

Awesome App - Rare Features & “Human touch”

Dump every calculator you have, I had 4 before I found this, they all sucked because they did not touch on the human being side of things like this App does so well. Very few app creators are remembering that there is flesh and bone on the other end of these devices, this app nails it. #1 BEST FEATURE (for me): has to be the “comments integration”, it’s the only reason I bought it at first actually, I’m hoping they will expand even more on the identification elements of each mathematical entry, it’s so nice to see exactly what each line represents “in real life”, so to speak....which is challenging considering the limited amount of real estate on these phones, I get it. Nice. #1 RARE APP FEATURE: (I’ve never seen this on a “Utility” App).....the Customizable Color Wheel in settings...It actually has a semi-full color range HUE slider, with saturation etc....that’s really rare (Outside of the Smart-Home lighting Apps themselves)...these guys are on point. (Why a 4?) = Overall 1 dope App, but yes I am a stickler, I am missing the ability to enable ‘Night Mode’, which is mentioned in App description & screenshots....But I do see it: it’s under the “Upgrades Tab”, for purchase @ .99 (I assume), but it still says “coming soon”...?(I’ll bump to a 5 soon as its working tho!)DEVELOPER(s) —> keep up the good work - mention the Color Wheel in your description & boost those downloads even more....

This is the calculator app to have. Incredibly easy to use and I would gladly pay more for the app than they are charging. I was in an accident awhile back that left me with brain damage. One of the complications is short term memory loss. This app was invaluable to me and when I couldn’t use it because it wasn’t compatible with the new iOS update, I went into small panic mode. I downloaded at least 20 calculator apps and only one of them was remotely useful. I never deleted this app and would periodically check to see if I could open it. You can’t even imagine how happy I was when it actually opened. If you’re questioning if this app is worth downloading, it is.

We all have our favorite calculator apps and this remains mine. The interface is comfortable and easy to work with on both iPhone and iPad and I love the way it resizes in new iPad windows now. Both pro add-ons have been well worth it to me, especially export. But, the edit-able and comment-able saved tapes are definitely this app's best feature. The fact that you can go back to and work between multiple tapes is terrific. The only way I can think to make this app better would be to sync & save tapes to iCloud so we could re-load saved tapes and switch seamlessly between tapes on more than one device.
The calculator that edits, comments, shares, saves and prints, has gone Dark. Dark Mode is now supported as standard in iOS 13. And we’ve added Smart Color Sets to keep your keypad looking great as you toggle between Light and Dark.
