this is the best app i have ever had the privillage of downloading. my life is forever in debt to you, Songsterr. the second i opened the app i knew this was my destiny. i have downloaded many, many apps but none as godlike as Songsterr. i play bass and finding tabs to the songs i play are really hard, but with Songsterr… my god… it’s brilliant. i was searching for Suburbia Overture bass tabs and so many sites have failed me, but then, i stumble across a site “Songsterr” i open the link. i am transported to the most beautiful website the internet has ever had displayed. the exact song i was looking for, with bass tabs. my eyes then meet a green box on the bottom left corner of the site, “go to app” a small gasp leaves my mouth, i click on the box. it takes me to the app store, there i am met with the most beautiful thing i have ever layed eyes on. i quickly download Songsterr and open the app. i had never seen something so perfect, so radiant. i tap on the search bar at the top of my screen. i type in the song i have been scowering for all over the internet, and in a split second. it appears. i click on the song… i look down at my phone, a light pans down as a single tear runs down my face… i could select the instrument i play… and it would show me the tabs… i fall to my knees “this… this must be… my destiny” i mutter to myself. i have been reborn. thank you, thank you, Songsterr. this has truly been a life changing experience.

Now I gotta play catch up! Holy S__t! Songsterr, ya monster you! I get guitar, bass, drum, and keyboard parts, and all the fills. Maaaaan! Just not fair, now I gotta go to work, happily, still work though. $10/mo not bad! You should see all the music books I’ve bought over 45 years, John Thompson’s modern course for the piano, Guitar Player, and Guitar for the Practicing Musician magazines, even have a rudiment poster for the drums. $10 is cheap just that fact I can carry around my whole sheet music library on a mobile device speaks volumes. Quick searching for a specific tune, priceless, and no more dr. for paper cuts. (for those who flipped actual pages in their lifetimes, not pdfs!) and I can slow down the song to hear it at my speed 🤣 or wait for the coffee to kick in. I do like this better than that Rock band video game, just more used to music that way. I do like the Rockband too, makes me feel like I’m playing a an actual video game I relate to.Hoping to get all of “Out for Blood” learned soon, all parts! Yea, I’m bored and “that kind of musician” (whatever that means. Maybe ‘esplain it for me Lucy!) Thank you for making the thought even possible. K gotta go git ta work, peace! Thanks!

This app is great i use it to learn bass songs. I really like the aesthetic and it is much more user friendly than other similar apps like ultimate. However, this app is definitely P2W. Unless you are comfortable learning songs just by looking at the tablature and playing at speed then you have to pay. Which, in my opinion is a HUMONGOUS paywall! Playback speed should 1000% be added to the free package. I’m also having some issues with playing the original audio. Whenever I click that option it just won’t play. Occasionally I will get the first couple of measures to go with no audio (Meaning the green line will pass it then stop) If you guys could look into that that would be great and I would really appreciate it ❤️.Because if I’m being honest(And this only applies to certain songs) It gets kinda annoying when some of the instruments in the non-original that you guys provide are really off. I also have a few suggestions. Firstly it would be really nice if you could sort the songs in your favorites page into categories that you can choose or at least by genres. I also suggest adding more instruments to the “search for this instrument only” list such as synthesizer. I also suggest making sure that there are lyrics for every song because I’ve come across quite a few that are missing lyrics. I also would really like it if there was an option to just listen to the part that you are trying to learn instead of hearing the whole song every time. In conclusion this app is wonderful but if you are trying to learn a particularly hard or complicated part you definitely need to consider subscribing because the playback speed is a game-changer! I owe hundreds of learned songs to this app and I definitely think it is the best app for tabs and lead sheets. I have never had a moment where I couldn’t find a song, and I doubt I ever will. Their inventory of songs is insanely huge. I cannot recommend this app enough. Also if you read this far I love you ❤️

However, the "freemium" update might lead me to delete this app at last. I learned my first song on this app. Heck, I learned my first *1,000* songs on this app. As a self-taught guitarist, this app helped me develop my skills farther than I could have ever gotten by myself. That was in large part due to the features that we were allowed to use for free. The solo play, mute, and loop features, along with the tempo adjuster were crucial in my development as a guitarist. That was ALL THANKS to Songsterr and the fact that the creators allowed those features to remain free. At the time, no other guitar apps would imagine doing something so generous. I 100% believe I would have eventually quit guitar had this app not existed when I first started playing. Now, unfortunately, those who cannot afford $10/month will not have it as easily as I did. The spirit of helping new players discover the joy of creating music, and the ever-giving journey of honing one's skill as a musician, has all been dumped in favor of greed. I am truly heartbroken.
