"Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it." (Hebrews 2:1). Our prayer is that this app helps you to pay closer attention to the Bible. This important update includes a better experience for Bible passages in each resource and other minor fixes.

'He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.' (Hebrews 1:3) We hope this app helps to appreciate Jesus' glory. In this update, we have included a new resource category for children and youth. More resources will be added soon to help churches and parents.

Hopefully, this minor update will help you in gaining that wisdom. In this version we have again improved the notifications experience and fixed a few small bugs.

This update includes: - Filtering by speaker now shows regular speakers and a search box. - Regular speakers are easier to find and filter - Dark mode option now on the settings page - A few tweaks to how the resources display. The Bible Matters team has been encouraged by Colossians 3:23 recently: 'Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men'. All your feedback has helped us to make some more improvements. Our prayer is that we stay focused on the gospel, working for God's glory, not ours. Please do pray for our work as you wait for the app to update. This version will include: - You can now go forwards or backwards 10 seconds rather than 30 in talks. - 'Pick up where you left off' on the homepage now works better and is now ordered by most recently played. - Fixed a bug where talks that are not in a series now download successfully. - And series navigation works more intuitively. The link between series and talks (and going backwards) should be better. Also from Colossians (1:16): 'For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

Everyone in the Bible Matters team longs for the new creation, where there will be no bugs. In the meantime, this fallen world has many bugs. This important update fixes some of them and adds some extra small improvements.

Here are some more improvements in this version: - Some tweaks on how assets are ordered - Extra height/padding allowance for Chinese characters - More than just the first chapter of the Bible passage will now show if a talk covers the whole book - Ability to scrub/move position on a talk on lockscreen (Apple only) - Talk length and duration showing where we have that information - Icon shows on share screen when sharing resource - 'beta' added next to livestream on drawer menu to show this is 3rd party/experimental. Remember, if you come to St Helen's church please do toggle on 'church family alerts' in the notifications menu in settings. Also, if you enjoy using the app it really helps to leave a positive review so other people can find it.
