So no where on the app does it say that any game stop will full market value. And in this case they dont say anything about the brick and morter side of this. If you are going to offer a grading service as well as cash for slabs and only take PSA then it shouldnt be hard to by from public and sell the card for price value. if the card is worth an amount then it should be sold as that amount. Just like any other platform selling slabs “TCG, pricechart, ebay etc” why is it the public has to pay full price but card shops wont buy back for full price value. i shouldnt have to sell it to a private collector for full price value. Anyways the fact that its not specifically in the instructions means they plan to screw you over regardless. and in no way shape or form does it say they wont take OCG cards either. There are alot of things that is not open to the public to read openly and publicly. So as my understanding goes i will be grading all of MY OCG cards for grade and then i will be able to sell my OCG PSA GRADED cards. Finally! A market where i can dump off these OCG cards! I knew one day someone would open this market. Thank you

There is a lot of misconceptions when it comes to GameStop when it come to their memberships, trading policies, returns and so on. The one thing that they need to work on though is the app. Sometimes it doesn’t show my preorders and most the time it doesn’t tell me the right date of when my preorder product comes out. I would also like to mention that the company doesn’t hide anything from their customers, there policies are always printed out on the back of the receipts so there’s always a remember of how returning a product works. Last time I bought a preowned system their policies are also written on the box right under the name of the system I bought. I would say that those you complain that they are being scammed have ever thought about the call and demand of an item that is being traded or returned. That and I’ve save 100s of dollars using the pro membership and I maybe go to gamestop 3 or 4 times a year. I’ve never had my point taken for coupons unless I have redeemed them myself as it is a simple setting on your account page that you have to change when you officially set up you account online. Plus it gives you 250 extra points if you do finish your profile... THIS PART IS FREE BTW. I don’t know about you but I like free things... enough rambling now, overall great company but I would see about maybe sending out a overall new update for the app so it works smoothly like it use to...

I have been a GameStop customer before pro membership even existed. None stop my family and myself would go there and buy everything gaming and more under the same account. I am a points hoarder who was about to use points when without proper notice every last point saved in the past 14-15 years expired… I received a single email stating my points are about to expire… a month after they already expired… 14-15 years of saving points gone. The only other email was an email 1 year ago stating pro membership even existed get an upgrade. And at the VERY end of that long email it states that points will now expire after 1 year. I almost threw up. GameStop knew what they were doing…. I contacted support and all they had to say was “sorry notice of points expiring did not reach you in a timely manner but your points are now gone and there’s nothing we can do about it”. More like nothing you will do about it. This corporate garbage we call a business doesn’t care about its customers nor does it care about longevity. Treating their customers almost as bad as they treat their employees that they can never keep. I wonder why? Do yourself a favor and cancel your pro membership now before your the next one they scam out of points. It’s a sad day to see an iconic gaming distributor become what it has out of greed. If we start pulling away from them maybe other distributors will come out of the woodworks with better deals and better customer service.
Okay App but has glitches, needs work

As a consumer I have had nothing but great experiences shopping at GameStop for all my video game related products and the team at the store I shop at is 5 Star Good! The app however is a different story and unfortunately the App isn’t fully functional and though it recently received an overhaul it still is not very consumer friendly and I have experienced numerous glitches and problems with the app! One issue that has been extremely frustrating as a consumer is that the “Pre-orders” tracking feature has not been working in I don’t know how many months! I can’t remember the last time I was able to track my pre-orders without having any issues! Currently, when I select “Pre-orders only” under the “My Orders” section of the app all I get is an error message that says “No connection to server” and as such the app is incapable of displaying my pre-orders :/ I have even had trouble placing orders through the app and instead have resorted to visiting the website or calling the store in such situations. Overall it has a decent interface but GameStop still needs to fix the functionality of the app!
