2C2P payment api is not processing international cards

My fiancée is in Thailand and due to Covid we have not been able to see each other for several months. I was always able to purchase items for her on Central with my Visa card. I am in the US. Recently you changed something about your payment API and any card I use will fail. In fact it doesn’t even post. If it was a payment decline I would get notice from my card company. I think the way you process the card it is using the shipping address and trying to verify that as the billing address. If that is the case you need to add the option to add billing address as part of the card payment information. You also should add more secure payment options like PayPal or Apple Pay.

Cannot use my credit card from Singapore. Why not? Card works, even called my card company. Just keep getting error message. I saw that someone else complaint about this 2 years ago. Same problem still today. I was also supposed to get gifts with my purchases but received nothing and when I tried to reach out to customer service, no English speaking staff on chat or telephone. If I am lucky they reply by email days later. They wrote to me that I have to send in screenshot of my purchase where it shows that I supposed to get gifts. WHAT? Never heard anything so stupid!!! Why can they not look at my order number and look up what gifts were offered during the period of my purchase? Basically because it’s too much work for them. Also one item I received is not what I have ordered. I am trying to return it and another nightmare begins. I am trying to get the return label, I tried online no label and have written to get help. Still no luck. Overall a terrible experience buying online. Don’t expect too much chance of getting gifts with purchase which is still offered online/ in store today. I could return the whole order but to get the return label will be another nightmare. In the future, I just walk in to Emporium and buy what I need and get my gifts with purchase instead. Rubbish app, rubbish online customer service. if I could give no star I would.

I Have a shopping bag that I can not get rid of. I have tried trying to remove each item, putting item number to 0and trying to remove, moving to wish list and getting rid of. I have deletedMy history, my web data, the app and restoring, rebooting my iPhone, and many more things. Each time I re-enter the application the items in the shopping cart are still there.

Terrible customer experience

I used the Central online store to order furniture, to be delivered to Samui. First, the site doesn’t allow non-Thai cards of any kind, which seems like a bad choice. More importantly, the site allowed me to put in a Samui address, checkout and pay and then the brand (Chic Republic) I bought sent me an email a week later to tell me they don’t ship to Samui! From there I contacted Central a few times and was told basically, they would honor the shipping. No one ever got back to me in a timely way, I had to push the communication over and over. Finally, someone came back to me…..2 weeks later….that they would not ship. I work in the retail technology sector and often work on the customer journey and experience and I have to say, even though this is Thailand, this is also a major retailer with stores nationwide and somehow, I expected better.
