With the Lieferando iPhone app, you can order the food you love wherever you are in Germany. From over 37,000 restaurants, supermarkets and convenience stores to choose from, you can enjoy everything from burgers, pizza, pasta, sushi, salads and loads more, and get it all delivered to your door.
Need some bits from the supermarket, liquor store or florist? Just open the Lieferando app, choose ‘groceries’ and fill your basket. Whether it’s baby food, diapers, flowers, liquor, beer, wine, beauty products, ice cream, chocolate, milk, fruit and bread, our partners have it all.
How it works:
Ordering is easy. You can either pick a saved address, fill in your postcode/street name or let the app find your location automatically. You can then choose your favourite restaurant or store and select what you fancy. Choose to pay with PayPal, Klarna, credit card, Apple Pay or another option, or pay with cash when your food gets delivered if the restaurant allows it.

I’ve been a customer since the inception. I’ve stuck with you guys through ups, downs and acquisitions. All I’m asking is for you to give me the option to disable promotional notifications. I find it profoundly annoying, even disrespectful. I order when I’m hungry, not because I get spammy promotional push notifications. I keep having to disable notifications and reenable them when I do order so I know when my food is coming. Seriously, with this kind of policy, you are invading sacred space. In a lazy way. Put in the work, and let users fine-tune options about what they exactly want to get notifications about at least. I personally might even use that, to get promotions about two restaurants. But the way it is now, it’s pushy, lazy, spammy and desperate.

Worst delivery service and customer service I experienced in my entire life

There is no customer rights with this application. After getting your money and confirming the order, they turn your food experience into a nightmare. Cant count the number of times I had an issue with my order and let go because they made it difficult to contact customer support, or even worse. You can make the effort to contact them but then end having no response or robotic answers with failure to understand the issue and unwillingness to solve it. Keep all this aside, my latest experience was really HORRIBLE and had me decide that I will not use this app ever again even if it was the only option. (Normally I only use it only when the restaurant I want is not on the other apps anyway ).So I ordered from a restaurant and after my order got accepted and paid I got a call from the restaurant saying my main dish was not available and they offered to replace it with something else. I told them clearly NO. If you do not have my order please cancel the full order!! I also contacted liefernde on chat service and explained what happened. The response was we cannot cancel! The order is on the way and they ended that chat! I recieved food that was entirely different from what I ordered and they did not bother responding to my emails of complain! Can you imagine ordering something and getting something else without having the right to claim them wrong? I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

one of the worst food delivery services I’ve ever used. Ordered delivery through their website and went outside when the website notified that my food was delivered. Received no phone calls from anybody and when I went outside there was no food anywhere surrounding the building. Then called the store I ordered from and they sent out a new order. The second order did not arrive as well and did not receive a tracking number or anything. Then asked for a refund for the food I didn’t receive and was told that it was not possible because the food had been delivered and they had tried to call me multiple times. Then proceeded to show them proof of my phone log that showed no missed calls and was told this wasn’t enough proof to qualify for a refund. I double checked to see if I put the address and phone number in correctly and I had. Worst part is they can provide no proof of trying to call me or where the order was dropped off outside of my building. Truly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a business and the utter lack of care I received as a repeat customer is very disappointing. Being blamed for their mistake as well is completely upsetting and I cannot believe I am expected to pay for a service I never received. Will never be ordering from them again and would recommend anybody who wants to order through this service to RUN AWAY.

Lieferando took my money like it was nothing

While visiting Germany I downloaded the app to order food because I saw it advertised everywhere. Thought it would be nice to use and decided to order food through the app. Ordering process was easy. Filled out all the proper information such as where i was staying contact information etc....the app said the food would arrive in 45 minutes and after 1hour and 15 minutes my food never showed up. Another hour later and no food. By this time the restaurant from where I ordered was closed so now I knew for sure i wouldn’t receive the food. I sent a request to liefernado about getting my money back and this was their response (a week later might I add) “the delivery service told us that they neither were able to find you at the given address nor could reach you with the provided telephone number during the ordering process. We’re sorry but we can’t cancel the order and refund the money because the delivery service would suffer a loss” they claimed that I could contact the restaurant to ask for a solution from them but since their response was so slow I had already left Germany after that time. After a few more long worded emails to them I gave up arguing with them. This by far is the worst app i have used on my phone period. I HIGHLY recommend you stay away from this non functional app.
