I usually don't review apps, but I felt compelled to save others the trouble.I bought this app to repel packs of feral dogs that roam near the hotel that I typically stay at in Bangalore, India. Most Indian cities have a fair amount of feral dogs running the street. They are harmless during the day, but they can be a problem at night. Given the mixed reviews, I decided to try it during the day in low risk situations. I have an iPhone 4, and I used it on max volume. With several dogs over a four day period with various frequencies, I experimented with the app. The greatest effect that I was able to achieve was that on one day some dogs looked at me and pointed their ears in my direction. It didn't repel them at all. In fact, I walked within 6 inches of a sleeping dog with it on, and the dog didn't even stir!Don't waste your money.

I was always wondering if it would be possible to have such an App and waited quite a while till this one finally showed up. It works, is easy to used even in a situation where one would be a bit nervous. Keep up the good work and thanks for this wonderful App!!!!

This app only works on humans. I've tried 31 dogs so far and this app doesn't show any credibility. It's lacking amplification of the tones being generated. No iPhone 4 can generate the amplification needed to penetrate the medium and into the dogs ear. Save your .99 cents and your better off with dog repellant in a spray form.

I tried it on my neighbors dog I even turned it up as far as it went. Yeah it freaked him out. I was even freaked out because I was afraid he was going to bite one of the kids. Needless to say. I turned it back down.
