I have been using Photo Tangler on a regular basis for at least five years. I am an exhibiting fine arts photographer and an active filmmaker. First off, this app simple but not simplistic. The controls are efficient and effective. A very clear help note is built into the app and is a single tap away. The montages that I create inside Photo Tangler take my breath away and the breath of many viewers of my work. The design emphasis of the various tools is tactile. Resizing, moving, layering, and the rest are accomplished with the tips of your fingers. Nothing confusing. Photo Tangler is a tool for dream making. Sweet dreams. I’d like Kurt to consider expanding Photo Tangler’s ability to include importing video and performing the same operations that we currently use on photos but on video files as well. With the A10 chip and the ability of use 128 or 256 gigs of ram, the computing horsepower to handle video files is here. The impact of video imagery would be wondrous. I can’t think of an app on any platform After Effects included that could match the ease of use with powerful visual tools that Photo Tangler provides. Thank you Kurt, for your technical imagination and operational coding skills to make such a beautiful visual tool.

Unreal how simplified and how eloquent this app makes collages. I love the layered approach, incredibly simplified once you get through the learning curve. This learning curve is nothing like learning Photo Shop mix, this is much simpler and much better. Just pay attention to details and you will only be limited by your imagination on collage creation.It’s somewhat advanced in dealing with editing so this isn’t for beginners. For the best effects, you need to be familiar with working with layers (sending items to back, bringing to front and so on). I loved the help guide, normally I skip this but someone else complimented the help guide so I peeked in and sure enough, it’s clear and concise and in plain English (or whatever language it may support).

This is my absolute favorite app for creating collages. I turn to this app first when I want to create a work of art with pictures. Great job!!! Keep up the updates and great work!!! 😊The only problem I discovered is that the shadows don’t work on the text when you save it. The shadow is there when you are looking at it, but as soon as you save it, the shadow is virtually gone. Also, the outline that you put around the collage when you are sizing it looks good. Then when you save it, the text is sometimes cut off. So it isn’t always accurate.

This App has provided me with everything I needed—in order to accomplish my projects in a reasonable amount of time—without sacrificing any quality. I've only used it a few times but am so impressed by its ease of use, I don't feel the need to search for any other photo-blending-app. One more thing—it's a very rare occurrence for me, to actually take the time to write any kind of review...
