Cloud support is coming to Rota Calendar and this update brings some underlying changes to allow that to happen. The changes are quite significant but shouldn’t affect any behaviour of the app. You shouldn’t notice any differences other than the items listed below. Other fixes and improvements in this update include: - Dropped iOS 13, minimum supported version is iOS 14. - Fixed issue with Calendar Permissions not carrying across to iOS 17. - AirDrop has temporarily been disabled as some breaking changes introduced with iOS 17 caused it to stop working. Any fixes tie in with cloud work so AirDrop will be reinstated soon. - Improved appearance of date/time pickers. - Confirmation dialog with message before clearing Rota pattern. - Bottom toolbar is always shown by default. This can be changed via iOS Settings -> Rota Calendar.

This update brings the first step towards cloud backup and sync of Rotas across devices. Periodically the Rota data will be migrated to the new format, allowing for any potential issues to be discovered now, whilst the next piece of work is underway. It will happen silently in the background and some analytics have been added to help monitor this.

Thank you for using Rota Calendar this update brings iOS 11 and iPhone X support. As always, all feedback and suggestions are noted down and work has started on some new features, enhancements and minor tweaks. Some highlights include: optional dividers between months, exporting shifts as events to other calendars and improvements to the shift marker editing workflow. Please Note: Compatibility with iOS 8 has been dropped and from this update onwards the minimum supported version is iOS 9.

Fixed issues with the calendar event/appointment details table. The event details table at the bottom where events can be viewed and selected would occasionally glitch, resulting in a blank table or weird behaviour. This has now been fixed, thank you to some valuable help from customers who were experiencing the issue. Other minor bugs have also been fixed and more features are in the pipeline.
