I’ve been using Fing and it’s network device/ Box since their Startup days many years ago. I only have great things to say about this app and company! They are constantly updating and improving. It has so many different options to monitor, troubleshoot and to protect your network. I can open the app at anytime and check when my son is off or on the network and even have it send me notifications anytime someone logs into or out of my network... Great parental monitoring. One of my favorite options is the “Monthly Network Report” ( which helps me call out Charter/ Spectrum for throttling back my WiFi... they say they don’t throttle back... BS! Bc this gives me proof every single day that they DO!) It also shows every time there’s outages on my network and for how long down to the second! Unfortunately, for me is just about everyday! For instance this past month, I had 15/31 good days without outages and the total down time for the month was a staggering 51 hrs!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! I work from Hm too and this enables me, to go to their store front and show them their performance report and get $$ knocked off my monthly bill and get the speeds I’m paying for. I pay 300+$ a month for 300MB down and 25 up, 3 tv boxes, and a fax line!! Which to me is outrageous! I could go on and on about all of Fing’s services but I’ll leave that to you to look into them all. I recommend the Fing Box to everyone I know and I’d recommend it to you too! For what it’s worth... 100$ or whatever it cost now for the box and app, it’ll be some of the best money you’ve ever invested into ur network/ privacy and security. Try it out and you’ll see why they are the best, IMHO!
Great app!

I love this app. It’s one of the only free apps for wifi analyzer that you can see the list of devices to your network and name those devices and control them without getting charged to use the app. There is the premium option but you don’t really need that unless you want others things for your wifi besides the basic which it includes a lot of basic stuff in the app! I suggest using it if you have a vpn service on your router like me you can’t control the devices like blocking them and seeing all their info unless you get a wifi analyzer app so I searched and went to quite a few and downloaded quite a few and finally settled on this one which is perfect for controlling the device. I can block any of them individually and that’s a great option if you have kids that refuse to give up their devices well then I can just block them haha. It’s great I could say much more but this has already become too long! Use it! I promise you’ll love just even the basic app parts.
Fing support
What fkn Ever
Well seems like fing is doing what he’s supposed to,I think, not sure... I contact tech support and all I seem to get back is an auto response saying I’ve opened a ticket then 2 days later I’ll get another auto response saying “How did we do” word to the wise, If the cable co comes to service your home or business REMOVE FING AND DONT MENTION IT” they came out to my place and I told them the problems I’ve been having and he was very curious on how I knew all this information. I asked if he knew about Fing Box, 3 different cable repair men said “ no, what’s that? I’ve never heard of it”! Well when they got upset due to me having a lot more information than him ( so I thought) they all on different days pull out their phones and I see the fing app on their phone! They couldn’t backpedal enough, throw out more lies and leave fast enough saying a supervisor would have to come out. Then they hooked a big box outside to my cable and fing went through all his colors, went off, turns back to white, which is a Reboot mode and it’s never been the same and fing support has not answered any thing I’ve asked sense. I WOULD LIKE TO GET AN EXCHANGE!!! But for now ..... nothing but auto response saying “ Hey, How did we do... would be nice to actually get a human response and a support phone number to contact a human being!!! Technology has passed humanity.. it’s sad ... Mark R.
Five stars for the developer, 1 star for limitations

I’ve enjoyed Fing for quite sometime, I own two of them. One for the office and one for the home. Granular control over devices in real-time has been great for dealing teenagers and excessive internet use at home. In the office, it allows me to provide clients a level of access they need and that I feel comfortable providing. In this last update, I find the UI much more limited and far less useful. I get the feeling from reading about Apple’s security concerns for its services trumping the security interests of its users is forcing developers to cater to ensuring we (users) cannot peer behind the curtain and further, that we cannot interfere with those services by cutting off the data feed. If possible, fing, please look to the previous iteration of the app and either build some of those functions into the web app or place them back in the iOS app.Thank you!
