I love the GWCU online banking app! I have an account at another financial institution where I am just a customer. Ho hum. At Gulf Winds, I am a MEMBER! GW’s online banking provides instant information! When I make a transfer, I love that my financial decisions can be seen immediately. I don’t have time to keep revisiting my accounts online to be certain my accounts are current! At the other bank, it takes two or three days to see a credit card payment or a transfer! The immediate, accurate depiction of every banking move I make online at Gulf Winds is so comforting and saves me so much time! Thank you GWFCU for easy to read-at-a-glance, accurate, immediate access to my financial data through the app! I love my Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union! 20+ years I have experienced nothing but amazing professionalism! Keep up the great service and the meeting of the needs of your MEMBERS!!!

From being called what they are to this other stuff checking to s9 savings to s1 from Visa to loan 101 ! To saying it’s Tvm from s1 but does not say where it was transferred to is very confusing & not at all prossional ! Took a very long time to go over & figure out after many calls & a visit to the bank. Where they could not easily explain it either. I was told over & over the same things . I can’t help our terminology changed. Idc about that I wanted to know where the $ was transferred to but the statement doesn’t say ! When I asked for a printout of all of withdrawals tvm from savings or all the transfers vm to the loan I was told they couldn’t do that. I had to spend many many many hours going over statements to figure out where the $ was transferred to all bc the statements did not show it ! The lady at bank was of little help. All because it was my husbands visa & I wasn’t on it. This is a huge issue causing unnecessary stress! I knew we didn’t have 2 loans but was not told by the bank it was a visa plus the statement doesn’t say on all the vmt where where the $ is transferred to. It only say tvm !!!! But not to what account ! We have several accounts & this was very difficult & stressful causing major problems! It would be very much appreciated if this issue is corrected & simplified for all ! Everything is very intuitive and user friendly on this app, particularly compared to other banking, credit card, or finance apps. The mobile check deposit feature is super easy to do, transfers are almost instantaneous, being able to message (and store in the inbox) back & forth with customer service is handy on the go. They respond promptly and can direct you to other resources as needed. Though the app is so plentiful and easy to find different info, that you generally have most of what you need there to either complete a process or at least get the ball rolling on it, if it is something more complex that involved additional parties & discussions. They’ve always been up front with me, in person, through the app, and by phone whenever needed. I think it is important to support your local credit unions, especially when their folks are so much more personable than bigger conglomerates and they offer the same types of services and even better benefits when it comes to less fees and more flexibility for the customer. Even though this is a specifically a mobile app review, you must consider the business as a whole, and they’ve done the best they can to make the app experience as seamless with any other forms of customer contact and that is no easy feat. So props to the web developers with their design, upkeep, UX considerations, and comprehension of the business structure and flow. Also major props to the liaisons in charge of coordinating, translating and bridging that gap that always exists between real life customer experiences & service offerings with the purely digital experience, because it is often like speaking two or more different languages trying to continuously optimize and synchronize things.I hope you continue to prosper and grow into a true mainstay and household name in the gulf areas you support!

If I could sum this app into three words those words would be: CONVENIENT, FAST, and ACCURATE. It's convenient if you have multiple accounts, need to transfer funds, or even deposit checks. The app is FAST. If you need to pay a bill, or check the status of a transaction, the app rarely freezes up on you. It's VERY ACCURATE. If you have a question, Gulf Winds will always answer it through the message center, which is secured by the way. The app is simple, clean, and straight to the point. I have been a member for several years now and I must say I LOVE this app. Thank you Gulf Winds for all that you do for your customers!
