Writing a review for free for CheapOair I’ve done this for over 35 years. I actually should get paid to write a review. Eight times I have used CheapOair as my ticket source and I had not had any issues or problems with my tickets times reservations at all. I have used United. I’ve used Philippine Airlines STARLUX , i’ve flown into Eco Manila Taiwan then into sea boo where was my final destination? I’ve used a total of six Airlines no need to go into details unless I get paid for it. But I will say this much is given much as required as a return customer and a single parent to be treated well on Airlines is a effort. The airline should be more personable and think about how people work all year to get their two weeks, vacation and airline can spoil it or a employee or disgruntled employee who doesn’t want to be there can ruin that flight and possibly their vacation that they work so hard for on either a check-in or a checkout I would hope they would treat the people who are traveling with extra care concern. Such a scam

After saving for a trip to Arizona and Mexico for 3 years, me and my family were excited for our trip and happy that we got a good deal from this website. This ended when we got to the airport and found out that there was no record of our flight and that a flight going to the city we were going to has not existed for more than 6 months. In shock, we tried to call customer service. We have currently been on hold with them for more than 3 hours. A man picked up, said he could not help us, put us back on hold and that is where we are now. When we talked to the management of the airport they informed us that they have no affiliation to this app and that what they do is often sell regular priced. When we finally got put through, they took an extra 30 minuets to pull up our “itinerary” that we already told them does not exist. We had booked activities in Arizona and because of our non-existent flight were not able to attend them. Altogether, we wasted over 3000 dollars on these flights and don’t even know if we can go to Mexico and if that flight doesn’t exist too. I you account the activities and hotel we would not use, it is actually so much more. I recommend using any other service or just buying through the actual airline. This whole experience has been extremely stressful and heartbreaking for us because we worked so hard for this vacation and we might have just been completely robbed by this fake company that might just be a scam.

I have been trying to post this review in the email received from you but I by guess since is not a positive one takes forever to post. First to all the flight from Miami was delayed costing me an my partner,have to run through the entire airport in Lisbon to catch my next flight upon arrival to the gate I encounter our seats were already sold, and new seats were issue where we no longer be sitting together seats that I paid in advance with cheapoair that was the first part. The flight of the day of the return to the US the day early I start receiving alerts that my flight was delayed for more than two hours, and that will cost me missing my flight to Miami then our flight was changed to New Jersey and third flight was added from New Jersey to Miami one more time our seats the ones I paid for in advance were changed , and no compensation was offer from the airline. Also we arrive in New Jersey with no seat assigned so we have to go to a counter and we were given two seats random not together anymore so in my experience, this was not a good interaction with this airline, taking in consideration that I paid for all those seats in advance, and those seats were sold to another person. I found this very dishonest and you Cheapoair you are in the middle of this situation because all the payments were through you as a company and I would like to know what you are gonna do about it. I’m very disappointed at I am considering never use you to buy plane tickets again because nothing was offered to compensate all this experience

Bad app and terrible customer service

The app is pretty bad itself. It’s not easy to navigate and often doesn’t want to work properly. That’s not really my main issue here tho. My wife and I booked a trip to Ecuador months ago. Right from the start it was very odd, we were charged several transactions equaling the total cost, it worked fine but very odd. The airline had changed our schedule several times and each time we called cheapoair to see if they would work with us to maybe use better dates they literally just told us no and if we weren’t happy about the changes to “just not go”. I asked for a refund and even that wasn’t possible, not even a partial refund. We had ONE, just one good experience with their customer service. The final time the airline changed our schedule we were able to pick out of serval dates so that was nice, but then it still defaulted to a much worse date than the original. We called them and luckily for once they actually helped us out and got us the beat option. The trip was a success and we had a great time with what we had in the end but my goodness was the shopping experience a nightmare. We will no longer use this app or website for any travel needs. Just way too much headache and way too many very rude customer service reps. The stress and worry leading up till our trip was not necessary, especially with all that’s happening in the world. I’d give them 2 stars overall just because of the one rep that was really nice and helpful so close to our flight date but I’ll leave it at 1 star due to the many rude reps we had to deal with.
