Makes online banking easy as 1-2-3. I’ve been with AFCU for 40+ years ... and they’ve always done right by me. I’ve been doing online banking with them since I picked up my first 3-1/2” hard plastic disc to insert into my PC; and it wasn’t even called online banking then. LoL. With everything new, there will be growing pains; but I feel AFCU has done a great job of staying current and keeping their program updated. I’ve never experienced any of the problems others have mentioned; but I keep track of my spending, because I know no software is 100% infallible. As others have mentioned, tho ... I also wish AFCU would make inter-bank transfers available. Most banks offer that now, since the majority of online bankers either have more than one bank or credit union they use, or have the need to transfer money to someone who doesn’t have an account with AFCU. The only option is a wire transfer, which is expensive for the sender, and oddly enough ... expensive for the receiver if they bank with AFCU. They are the only banking institution I’ve ever known to charge for an incoming wire transfer; and it’s not a small fee. It’s close to the same amount it costs to send the wire. Didn’t mean to bash them; but as a parent who often transfers money to my son who is in the Middle East long term with the Armed Forces, it would be cheaper and easier if they would incorporate inter-bank transfers into all of the great services they already offer. They’re still an awesome credit union and deserve the five stars I rated them.

This credit union has been the best bank I’ve ever been with. Comparing it to Wells Fargo, Chase Bank, US Bank, Jordan Credit Union, and other I just don’t even need to mention. America First far out does it by far. The customer service is spectacular. The easy to use drive up banking and even their ATM’s are great. The level at which I can just have a trustworthy place to hold onto my money making it easy to use my money or save my money os worth more than trying to deal with one of those fake banks trying to be real. That’s all there is to it. A great credit union who knows what there doing and making life easier for the average soccer mom. With bills to pay, kids to feed, and a husband who works hard to provide everything he can. You guys are a blessing. Not having to talk about why that bill didn’t get paid or excessive overdraft fees that placed us in the negative over dinner is worth every penny America First Credit Union does take/ (steal) from our account. Thank You for being what America need right now. Those other guys don’t know what they are doing when it comes to banking even if they are warehouse bank. America needs America First Credit Union.

It's been 9 minutes and the app has still not updated to the correct amount. I keep closing the app since there seems to be no way to sync it like you could in the older better version of the app. Another issue is the app takes so long to update. Like multiple multiple minutes after I make a purchase to reflect the amount I actually have. Way too long. Also as an update on the push notifications still not getting them after 5 more transactions 4 of those being in person. Make such a huge deal about this new mobile banking and not only is it ugly it does not work. Push notifications do not work. It's crazy how hard this seems to be for you all. They worked on the old app ages ago then just stopped. When I set up the new app I checked to have them turn on. Have had 2 purchases after the update and not a single push notifications. Is awful. The front page with the amounts just doesn't look good or right. When you click on an account let's say your checking account now everything is one huge list. Instead of being separated by day. This is going to make looking for transactions extremely time consuming and difficult. I should need to get a budgeting app to keep track of my transactions. The only positive I will say is for an overdraft fee it actually tells you what it is for instead of it just being right after it. That is the only nice thing. This was a lot of work to make your app a lot worse. When I first signed in and saw the wall of text you wanted me to agree to I thought about deleting the app and just using the web.

You know, if this app just updated your account settings as listed from its online (web browser) banking source, it would actually be a very useful and near perfect app. My suggestion, America First, is fix this problem before updating the GUI (that’s how the app looks and feels for all you technical novices). I’ve had this app for a while, so I know that it doesn’t update your account as soon as it should, so I haven’t run into overdraft fees in a while. Oh, also, notify your employees that this is a problem, I argued with one of your tellers about how the app doesn’t always update immediately and he kept trying to tell me it was instantaneous, no matter the situation. I think a good majority of these reviews somewhat argue otherwise. I do admit that most purchases show almost instantly, but I’ve found that some stores have a delay on the actual amount, such as most gas stations. Anyway, I know this is a long review, but it’s meant mostly for the software staff, so pay me no mind, other customers. (This information might be helpful to know if you’re going to get the app so you know what to look out for, though.)
