I love this app. I have seen so many reviews and comments about the content being older, but what do you expect? Why would Hallmark have their newest shows and movies on an app? Other networks do the same thing, it’s a business, which I understand. I love catching up on movies and shows I have not seen in years. It is absolutely worth the price, but probably won’t keep it long because there is so little content, it will not take long to get through what I want to watch. But no contracts so it is worth it!! I would love to see older tv shows on here, much like Sue Thomas. There are other family shows I would like to see them purchase and have on here, like Doc and Promised Land. They could offer more of their older movies, but they have a decent number of them. My only complaint is around functionality. It does not save the place where you left off watching a show so you have to scroll through to remember what episode you were on. It also fast forwards and rewinds weird. It skips over huge blocks of time and you cannot see scenes as you’re going so hard to find the specific spot you want. I have had it crash a couple of times, too. So far it always reopens, but it looses my spot and finding it again is hard with the way it fast forwards. Again, totally worth the money even though it has room for improvement.
It does the job of showing movies so it gets two stars. But it does the job very poorly.

So first the app: the app when all is said and done it’s basically awful. It randomly will drop things off your watchlist—I think it does it if you watch it—but what if you want to save the movie for later viewing because you loved it so much? It doesn’t usually keep track of what movie you were watching in any kind of easy to find format nor does it remember where you were half the time. (Especially true if the app crashed or your battery died) It has series movies and will actually tell you if it is movie nine of 12 but it does not have an easy way to show you what are movies one through nine. Recommended related movies make no sense and appear to be whatever they are pushing. Now about the service (which is not influencing the stars rating): I was under the impression you would get access to basically every single Hallmark movie there is out there. That is not true. You get access to a small selection, maybe 100, and some TV shows. I don’t know if there’s anything current or not because I don’t know what is current but it’s not like I have months and months viewing material here. Also, many of the movies are off-season, so they are offering autumn movies in May.As I said, it will allow you to view the movie and for that he gets two stars, but it overall is a very poorly designed app and one I am highly disappointed in as well as the service.

I love all the family friendly movies on this app but it’s a challenge playing things. For 1- when i pause a movie it doesn’t show what movie it is like other apps do. 2- they have a lot of series movies sometimes more than 10 but it’s really hard to figure out the order. I always have to google them and save a list on my phone. If I finish a movie that is part of a series, it never plays the next one, it plays some random movie in that series. And guess what? It doesn’t even show what it’s playing. There’s no way to know unless I stop the movie and go to my watch history. It’s disappointing because this is a paid app and there are free apps that work so much better. PLEASSSSEEE improve itfound more issues. when clicking on a movie from my history it immediately plays when all I want to do is add it to my list to watch later. once it starts playing it’s impossible to leave. the 2 tiny arrows in the bottom right corner require 10+ taps to work or it skips to the end of the movie (on my ipad). i love the movies but the app is a total pain. i also don’t see why the movies don’t have a rating option or even a heart. some movies I like and wish to rewatch would be great if I can see my rating for them.

I’ve started using this app a lot, especially since the 2025 Christmas movies are arriving. However, I can’t keep silent anymore. While I absolutely love the content and having wonderful Hallmark movies and programs at my fingertips, I’ve become more and more frustrated with the app with each use. 1. Please make it easier to exit whatever is being watched. The two arrows in the lower right-hand corner don’t work well at all. It takes MANY attempts to touch them in a way that finally gets whatever I’m watching to close. Also, it’s way too close to the line that keeps track of the progress of what’s being watched. Yesterday, while I was attempting to close a Christmas movie I was watching, which only had a few minutes left, I accidentally touched that line and the next thing I knew, I was watching the closing credits! Boo! And because I can’t fast forward through the movie, I have to watch the whole thing over again so I can finally see the ending to find out what happened. 2) Please make it so one can fast-forward the content. 3) Lately when I open the app, it tells me I cannot access it because it isn’t available outside of the U.S. (I live in Massachusetts!). This has happened on my iPhone and iPad. Why? Please make this app function better. Thank you!
