I find many of the reviews harsh. It is not the worst banking app in the world. They try really hard to make it assessable to us and I’m thankful for an app even being available to us and not just the bank or online! I am having issues with, “mobile banking”, where we can text and transfer transactions. Not sure if it’s a thing anymore. But the app over all, is not bad at all and people need to give it some time. Crashes happen, especially with updates. But mine hasn’t crashed for me at all in 2022.

The revamp of the app that was done recently is great - very clean and easy to use UI. In particular transferring funds to my other bank accounts is very straightforward and quick! I recently moved out of state and was worried I wouldn't be able to manage my account still being so far away from an in-person branch, but the changes made to the app have it so I can manage all the functionality of my accounts on my phone. Great job!
Stupid Update

The app was perfectly fine before the update. I could check my account, send money from my account to other towpath users with no problem. Now I can’t send money to my family member who’s a towpath user without having to call them every time to tell them to transfer from my account to hers. It’s very inconvenient especially if it’s after 5pm or the weekend. The saying goes “if it’s not broke don’t fix it.” That’s exactly what hat I think they’ve done here and in very annoying.

The reviews are justified for the OLD version of the app, it was very out of date and ran poorly at times. They did a massive update last march and the issues I had were resolved and the new features are nice. Our little credit union now has an app like the big banks!
