First: At random, the app will logout, and when you login it’ll get stuck in an apparently endless cycle of trying to re-sync your data. (Just force-restarted my iPhone to stop a re-sync that had been running for over an hour, consuming 10% of my battery.)Second: The monthly forced re-activation by SMS-code is ANNOYING. When I’m walking into a hearing with my iPad and without my iPhone (because I don’t need my iPhone since I have my iPad) but I can’t access my data because I can’t get a SMS on my iPad, I have a HUGE problem. Having an app is POINTLESS if I can’t actually get access to the data I NEED when I need it.

Desktop works fine, but the app has two serious issues.1. The app, whether on my iPhone or iPad iPad, crashes at least once a week. As a criminal defense attorney, I rely on the apps every day when I am in court, and it is excruciatingly frustrating to have it crash in the middle of a hearing or discussions with a prosecutor. No other app I have ever used crashed as much as this one. Please, please address this issue.2. The client search feature in the app does not always work. I type in the clients first or last name and half the time it does not come up. This is just as frustrating of having the app crash because it renders the app useless if I can’t find my clients profile to write notes or view documents, etc.

Not sure why they are not focusing on the app. The owners of Mycase keep producing AI stuff that will provide almost zero productivity gains but ignore the app. The mycase app was a great start about 12 years ago but no one ever took the time to add significant functionality. Give us the same functionality as the website but make it easier to use, just like what was started 12 years ago. I think most of us would prefer to use our iPads for most of our work but we cannot do it with this app. I am starting to lose my patience.

I’ve been using MyCase to manage my files, etc. for my practice for 4 years now and it’s a service I am pleased with, with one notable exception. The App. I am waiting for a family member in an appointment and needed to call a client on a pressing issue, but simply cannot login at all. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app, still no luck. I’ve changed my password twice, and I got sent to a 404 error page twice. This is hurting my practice and making me think about other options. Please address the app and help me with this! -FLC
