I'm giving it a five ONLY because it won't let me give a 4.5. It was an INCREDIBLE story, and a wonderful adventure that was filled with twists, turns, and a myriad of emotions. I look forward to more games (and hopefully a bit more graphically detailed in everything) like this from you.A few criticisms as well, however. When you die or get crushed, you're forced to redo the entire chapter from the beginning, so I would say add something so you can go back and redo that choice, while still counting the death. Also while I love a challenge, the illusion of choice in some areas makes chapters incredibly frustrating. Lastly, to tweak it where some decisions effect the game a bit more overall instead of just your character short term. All in all this was an absolutely wonderful game that I will be sure to play again now that I know the best routes and become the ultimate wizard. Nerul shall bow before me. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I thought it was a great blend of story and decision making. Some want more options, such overall access to full arsenal of spells when making decisions. I would make the point that it requires a lot of complexity to do that. Far outside the scope of a mobile game . . . Perhaps in the future some time. I found that my options given on the most part were enough. Only thing that bothered me was what seemed to be missing text at very end of volume. Right when you appear in a particular scene. Seems like things already happened that was not there for me to read. Otherwise a great game, I would like to see more wizard and Narissa stories in the future please =)

I rate this 4 stars because it had great story telling skills and had some options to choose from. I wish that they would let you pick which characters you wanted to be and picked what weapons or powers you can choose. The story is long, but I like it because this is the only app that I can find that has a wizard story or a DND role play kind of game. I search for a long time for an app like this. It’s awesome for readers and people who want to practice imaginations of their own. This is the best app to have and want more options and stories more about medieval times or fantasy related.

I loved the story to this and found the “are you sure” pop up if I really wanted to miss buying the volumes at a discounted price (ended up buying). I thoroughly found this to be a fun read and the choice mechanics of each chapter. I found that I enjoyed experimenting with the choices to find different outcomes. As I would find most choices plausible, some did not seem to fit. Though in the grand scheme, I found my money and time well spent. I honestly can’t believe this came out over 5 years ago.
