Hourly News 2.1 adds a two-pane layout for iPhone Duo and iPad, spoken source announcements, and a round of Apple Watch fixes: • iPhone Duo and iPad: the player and your playlist now sit side by side. On iPhone Duo the split follows the fold, with the controls on the bottom half when it stands like a laptop • New: Announce Source speaks the source name and episode time before a newscast that starts on its own, in a voice you choose (Settings › Playback) • Seek Back and Seek Forward can now be changed on iPhone, and the lock-screen skip buttons update right away • Announcements now stay in sync: read or dismiss one on any device and it's done everywhere.
