Compass Control represents the first fully integrated major control system built from the ground up to use Apple's iOS devices - iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch - as its backbone.
Let Compass Control be your guide to complete control for your residential or commercial application. Compass Control replaces all of your remotes and traditional control interfaces with one device. Compass Control becomes your cable remote, TV remote, thermostat, alarm control panel, and many other remote devices all contained in the sleek and beautiful shape of Apple's family of iOS powered devices.
Compass Control has an entire family of integrated devices allowing plug and play thanks to our Key Alliance Partners: Aprilaire, Denon, Furman, iPort, Key Digital, Lutron, Luxul, Marantz, Onkyo, Panamax, Russound, and SurgeX. Key Alliance third party hardware combined with Compass Control provides seamless integration and unparalleled capability for your entire AV or 'smart' automation system.
To use the application for actual control of components please contact an approved Compass Control reseller or sales@keydigital.com for System Creating assistance.

Compass control iPad app

I was shown an iPad app at CES by one of your reps. iPad app was bullet proof and amazing interface as far as look, feel, flexibility and ease of navigation. We are excited about Lutron bi-directional drivers
Slow and Clunky

I’ve had the Compass Control app installed on my iPad Mini and have had nothing but problems. From the beginning the app loads extremely slowly (verified on several iPads). Once you are in the app you have to manually refresh each page in order to view any changes that you made on the control, i.e.. ON/OFF state. You need to exit the app in order to do things like instantiate a SONOS system as there is no support for integrating things like SONOS or popular alarm systems into Compass Control. I also have a Lutron system that I use several times a day to control lights, thermostats, etc.. While there is “integration” into the Lutron system it is painfully slow; often forcing you to wait 7 seconds between each button click which always results in lights going on or off as the syncing is off when you click too many times. The Compass Control has taken the enjoyment out of my automated home system to the point that we cringe every time we want to watch TV or a movie. For the price of the Compass Control module, this app should be at least 500% more capable and efficient. I am very disappointed in Compass Control and would not recommend it to anyone.
Idk
One star should be none
