Hainan Airlines Holding Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as "Hainan Airlines") was established in January, 1993 in Hainan Province, China's largest special economic zone and free trade port. Hainan Airlines is committed to providing passengers with comprehensive and seamless airline services and creating a safe and comfortable travel experience.
In the first half of 2026, Hainan Airlines and its subsidiaries operate over 1,400 domestic and international routes, including over 1,200 domestic routes, covering all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in the Chinese mainland, as well as nearly 200 international and regional routes to 53 overseas cities, covering Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania and Africa. Hainan Airlines has also actively responded to the Belt and Road Initiative by building a world-class airline network with seamless international and domestic interactions, high quality and a large scale. Under the development strategy of building a "civil aviation powerhouse" Hainan Airlines and its subsidiaries have established operational bases and branches in 23 cities and municipalities, including Haikou, Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
From 1993 to date, Hainan Airlines has been operating safely for 33 years and has maintained an excellent operational record. In February 2024, Hainan Airlines was awarded the "One Star Flight Safety Diamond Award" by the Civil Aviation Administration of China for achieving 10 million consecutive hours of safe flight.
As the first and only SKYTRAX 5-Star airline in the Chinese mainland, Hainan Airlines has been named the “SKYTRAX 5-Star Airline” for the 15th consecutive year since 2011 for its high-quality service and excellent products. It also ranks among the SKYTRAX World's Best Airlines Top 10 and has earned top honors in several global and regional categories, including Best Airline in China, Best Airline Staff Service in China and Best Business Class Airline Comfort Amenities. This app basically doesn’t work at all. Many buttons and links don’t work at all. If you want to search and book a flight, you cannot even enter the dates. I am deleting it right now. Hainan Airline, you can do better. 👎
